I dont think that would have happened but I imagine that Finebaum would have been ranting about how great the committee is and how trash ND is. His schtick is repetitive and I don't see any value he adds. Quite honestly the only reason I wanted to hear him was for him to eat crow and apologize for throwing Coach Prime and CO under the bus.
Example: In the first 5 mins of his appearance of the clip below, he talks about Tennessee actually earned their way into the playoff, SMU and didn't. My thing is that Tennessee didn't play in the conference championship like SMU did and they had the worst blowout of all the times. I just hate when folks who don't really follow college ball full time comment on it like they are experts...That man is 65-10 and 95% of teams would take him and his staff today !! Ohio State fans got really spoiled with Tressel then Urban. Day definitely has some weird shit about him, but he's a good coach and his teams are almost always prepared.
