How to talk to college coaches about NIL

Moving forward, student-athletes interested in monetizing their NIL will need to ask questions about NIL rules when talking with coaches. Before speaking with a coach, prospective student-athletes should create a list of questions about the NIL rules that would impact them. Below are a few suggested questions:

  • What NIL rules are enforced by your school and conference?
  • What is NIL going to look like for me if I come to your institution?
  • How are current student-athletes monetizing their NIL?
  • What marketplaces are your current athletes using to monetize on their NIL?
  • What platform is your compliance office using to manage and approve NIL contracts?

I know the QB who left UNLV said they didn't give him what he wanted. Just curious how that contract is.

Yeah, they're all different. These kids have agents now and some of them are trash and/or predatory. I'm sure at some point we're gonna get a 30 For 30 focusing on this era and how these kids are truly getting fucked over. From schools lying to agents stealing, to them fucking up their bread and owing the IRS.

Fuck Brett Favre, that is all. Freeman ain't really on that I am Black train. He rolls with the bi-racial moniker and that's cool.

We really don't need to celebrate those that don't stand with us, explicitly.

He will get more questions leading up to the National Championship as well as even more if they win. I recognize that he probably has to walk a very fine line being at Notre Dame. They don't want another "Deion" popping up. :hmm::rolleyes2:

He didn't seem irritated initially when folks asked him about it. Now that it's the 100th reporter asking the same question he seems a bit tired of trying to put a new spin on the same answer.

I don't understand how homie still has the balls to speak publicly after committing that welfare fraud.

He had Penn State's defense BALLIN. I know PSU thinks they're gonna lure Al Golden or Jim Knowles away, but I seriously doubt it (unless Freeman goes to the Bears, which I also highly doubt)
Hey we gonna see

Man just think if Freeman & Prime both head to the NFL

I think Prime translates more to the NFL even though I think he's better served in college. What he's done at Colorado has been remarkable. I think both he and Freeman will have bigger impacts in college. But I don't know either of their personal aspirations. I know Freeman's wife and kids are really entrenched in the South Bend community. I could see the move if he didn't just sign the extension. That buyout has gotta be crazy

Both All American College players. Both former NFL players (though not comparable since Prime might be the GOAT and Freeman was cut short from heart issues). Both genuinely care about the kids they teach/coach. And that ripple effect is noticeable. Vick at Norfolk. DJax at Del State. I bet we see more retired Black NFL players getting head coaching jobs because of these two. This is gonna be a fire 30 for 30 if they stay in college and keep making the strides we know they can.
