Aw so niggas wanna get banned I see?
In taking notes and making a list.
Young blood I'm torn about this whole situation. We got two black kids without a mother.
I personally would not have handled the initial stop in the same way and because of how it was handled it led to a dire situation with a tragic outcome.
I myself have been in Traffic stops with my oldest son in the car. He was a few years older than the young man who lost his mother. I talked my son through the entire process and explained to him how to survive and make it home. Place your hands on the steering wheel. Already have you paperwork out in the open so you don't have to make any moves that can be considered a threat. Be a man but use common sense and judgement in how you speak.
That ain't a guarantee you make it home safe but it's how we lay the ground work for litigation later on in the event things don't go right.
It's hard being pulled over with your seed in the backseat. As a black man it can be demeaning.
I have never had cops serve a warrant in my home for me but I have seen them first hand do it for family. In my city they do it for failure to appear no matter the level on charge.
When it happened it happened before the supreme court said police can't simply walk up into your house to serve a warrant so I was able to speak through the door and send them on there merry way. It ain't like that now. They can come up in your crib without repercussions. Shit changed.
We have to be smarter from our first interaction with these potential race soldiers. We need to do everything possible to minimize our contact. That ain't admitting weakness. It's a sound strategy under the system we live under.
Unfortunately sister didn't think that way. Whether it was mental illness, lead poisoning, whatever. She did not practice tactical procedures to ensure she saw her kids grow up.
At the end of the day we have to make it home. If we cannot then it better be for a dam good reason. A traffic ticket and failure to appear ain't a good enough reason.
Young blood I respect you. But this ain't cut and dry. It's a lot of different angles popping up that need to be addressed and looked at.
We know what the police will do to us. We know there are two sets of laws in this world. One for them and one for us. Our people get into a hostage situation and they don't make it home. Theirs get home with a free meal.
From a war standpoint it does not make sense to continue to fall into the same trap every time. We have to learn and evolve. We ain't learning and we ain't evolving. We are trying to imitate the people who benefit from our deaths and oppression. Expecting them to treat us like they treat their own when we ain't their own. That's insane and out right treasonous to our offspring.
We can't keep playing the"white man did it BUT when we do it" card. We have to evolve. Develop a different strategy. Avoid the mine field as much as we can. Therefore we live to fight and not become a useless hash tag.
