I know this is what we all want to believe but exactly how do you know this is the case, do you have evidence that they are lying?
"Holding a child to protect you"...where are you getting this information from? This has never been confirmed, you are making this up from off the dome.
If I was surronded by cops with guns who I thought was trying to kill me, the first thing I would do is make sure my child got out safe... A parent job is to place their children life before their own, but I guess some people are not cut out like this, and a parking ticket is more important than the lives of her kids.... It's really a fucked up situation and sad that she died and horrible the kid was shot. Glad he survived, but I don't think this is similar to the other cases of police excessive force.
Had she answered the door and been served her warrant and taken into custody it's quite possible she would still be alive, her child wouldn't have a bullet wound in his arm and he wouldn't be without a mother.
We can be upset about Black Lives being taken by police but we don't have to lump all together as if some could have been avoided.
Whether she had lead poisoning or not, I'm not sure, however, going off the information released, she didn't sound stable.
I hate that I even have to explain it, but making alleged threats, allegedly pointing a shotgun at officers and keeping her kid with her, I can understand why things went the way they did.

But guess what, they did not kill her like she promised, nor did they kidnap her or her children... They got her out and towed her car, like they do everyone else...

Again, the police, originally, said they used a key to get into the door. It took the court documents to uncover what really happened. So, what other half-truths are the police saying? huh?

They used a key to unlock the door. They were able to unlock the door but could not gain entrance to the apartment due to a chain lock on the door.
I don't believe in half truths, but I also don't believe information released early on from an on going investigation is the whole truth. I expect information to change slightly.
