As some of the comments said. That place isn't going to be the same anymore. It's going to be years of construction and rebuilding.

The burn scars aren't just going to disappear, and their water situation isn't going to resolve itself suddenly.
Exactly! A lot of times, the city won't let people rebuild in those areas destroyed by fire for a few years!!

Most people will get checks from the insurance company and pay off their loans. They will use what's leftover to start a new life.

I'm in the insurance industry and see this all the time!

Insurance company won’t pay for any damages this cause…

It’s man caused not Mother Nature

This happened during Katrina. Some home owners was told the flood was cause by man… I never followed up on that story to see what came about
This isn’t Katrina, and these are not $100,000 homes. These people have A-list attorneys on speed dial.

Also, they're still in a chaparral/woodlands biome, which means Ma Nature will still be making corrections. Plus, there's a desert component. That soil is going to be shit for a minute.

Yeah, that too. It’s going to be a mess for a while.

It’s a huge wake up call for real.

Damn, that’s wild. And some people probably don’t even have insurance. Shitty situation all around.
