A Different World dilemma - that episode where Dwayne and Ron fought over percentages with The Baseball Grammar Game

HOW SHOULD HAVE IT BEEN SPLIT OR SHOULD IT HAVE BEEN SPLIT IN THE FIRST PLACE???


Lets establish two things..

1. Ron did contribute to the core idea so Dwayne shouldn't be 100% sole creator

2. Ron ONLY gave the core idea so his % should NOT be 50-50

Even tho Dwayne did the heavy lifting... without the core idea he would be doing NO lifting and there's no scenario under the circumstances of the episode and show where Ron gets a higher percentage than Dwayne....so how would YOU valuate Ron's contribution to a successful game???

So their relationship is to the point of I do for you, you do for me...You give me a couple hundred bucks for rent and when something comes up for you I got you. Where dwayne was wrong was in suddenly feeling like he couldn't share in the game's profit. Considering all the things Ron did for him.

You right about the close relationship and Dwayne does say he is willing to give a little credit for the idea. I do think though that Ron’s expectations are a bit crabby. You can tell Dwayne did all the work himself and Ron was like that best friend that thinks he deserves a house and Porsche because his best friend made it into the NBA FOH.

I’m in that situation right now. I built a website for one of my homeboys not thinking anything. One day my boys phone blew up with phone calls, I never asked for anything. My homeboy who is based in NYC, did give me rights to the business in ATL covering the South East region and another homeboy of ours was given the South West region. We all work independently now but all of us has a skill set that we bring to the table. In this case my guy got on then put us on.
