RIP Marcus Garvey Jr. I notice in the thread we have stickied for him, he's being recognized by his nationality. The word Jamaica has been used 20 times in the thread, while not once has he been described as a "Black man" even in the thread title. The gate is up, Garvey Jr. belongs to JAMAICA, not the entrire diaspora interestingly.
When one of our Black American icons passes I notice West Indians on BGOL go out of their way to only describe them as "Black" but wont recognize them as "American", their nationality.
