I’m not sure he knew they were gonna kill Ahmaud. he might have been recording it as either evidence for the police or recording it for him and his good ole boys to watch and laugh later on. There are some stupid people out there so after they thought they had gotten away with it he might have shared it with someone and they didn’t feel the same way he did and then released the video
Update. They have been charged.

That’s a great start. Now they need competent attorneys to send the murderers to prison forever.
The way the stand ground law was set up and written it gives white people free reign to harass black men.
For one, the law has no accountability for the aggressor or agitators. How can one brandish a firearm after chasing down a black man when he was not posing a threat and simple jogging? Normally brandishing a firearm on a person who posed no threat is a felony.
Oddly that gets thrown out in the stand your ground law which is allowing white people to say they were “threatened” even when they showed the opposite.

It’s not the way the law is “Written”, it’s the way the courts and laws see the world through “White” eyes. Reverse the situation and make this case a Black man hunting down a white man, “Stand Your Ground” wouldn’t apply because he’s Black.

I can imagine, I do jog and if a pick up truck pulled next to me talking shit, saying stop they want to arrest me out of the fucking blue, there probably will be problems. Had to be terrifying. As you see in my first statement, they incited a situation. They confronted young man, the cornered him, the followed him, they intimidated him, they threatened him, he defended himself the only way he could. Now the jury has to do their part and I'm afraid they will not because there is some doubt that can be introduced.

I'm curious and maybe I don't have most of the facts, but why did William Roddy Bryan give this video to the lawyer to release to the local news station in the first place? Without it, they would've gotten away scot free. Turning it over, as the sole piece of evidence that could lead to a conviction, would've ENSURED their arrest, and here we are.

74 days bruh ... in that time, they could've fled the country and no one would've been the wiser. The D.A's office would've had this buried as a cold case and that would've been it.

I can't put it together other than this Roddy guy bout to snitch like there's no tomorrow. If he pulls up and says, "well I aint know what was going on.. I just showed up at the scene and seen my neighbor tussling with some fella and filmed it.." That's plausible af cause nothing on that recording makes him guilty.
It's just the official police reporting of McMichael's word (which is already proven to be full of holes) vs his.
The best bit of this is that SOMEONE's going to jail and/or gonna fry for this. Only question now is who.
