with sick bars and schemes.. avoid this at all cost..

If you want to see a snap fest, with a high ass
bill collector just losing it...

with some really stupidly funny shit..

and big k just having a good time..

you may want to peep it...

Bill was just coming off the top and he was funny...

but the crowd was waaaay too soft and fluffy

for this battle to be taken serious...


battle rap is a forum where real street niggas gots to

As far as folks who Interview / Review Rap Battlers on YouTube.... These (4) vloggers have the LARGEST amount of 'followers'... and are the 'most respected' by the actual 'battle emcees' themselves...

- JayBlacc
- AngryFan
- Chris Unbias (ie "Unbias Reviews")
- Heavy Bags ("15 Minutes of Fame" Radio Show. This white dude is like the 'VladTV' of battle rap. But not as corny. He's actually a humble guy. Not a 'culture vulture' like Vlad is)

Isn't VladTV the VladTV of battle rap? Lol. They have tons of interviews from battle rappers.

Also don't forget...

ThatShitIsHotSunLive - he's usually at all the big events & gets dope recaps & interviews from the battlers right after their battles

HipHopIsReal - they've been doing some good VladTV style interviews w/ some of the battlers & ppl behind the scenes

BattleRap.com (YouTube channel) has some good quality interviews also

But VladTV isn't 'exclusively' about battle rap tho... like the others. :smh:

Vlad will interview Mook & Lux, then some Porn Stars, Pro Wrestlers and maybe an NFL Player or 2....plus the entire cast of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" & Justin Bieber all on the same day. :yes:

To me, Vlad is more like a "Howard Stern of Controversial Urban Culture", imo. :rolleyes:

He uses 'controversial topics' to stay relevant & drive traffic to his channel... He's kinda like a 'Worldstar of Urban Celebrity Thoughts & Opinions', so to speak.

He found his 'niche'. It's working for him. So be it. :dunno:

I get the feeling he only interviews 'battle rappers' because 'music sales' have fallen way off (in general). :yes:

So ALOT of 'industry artists' have nothing to talk about when their records are flopping :dunno:.. meanwhile the 'buzz' of the battle rap culture is growing. :yes:

If we was in the years 2001-2003... (waaay back when Smack was selling DVDs :cool:)... and battle rap is almost as popular as it is today....Vlad would be interviewing Bad Boy, Timberland, Neptunes, G-Unit & Rocafella Artists instead, all day long.

He wouldn't have ANY 'battle rappers' sitting on his couch while so many Artists had 'platinum' records out.. :smh:
Just my opinion.

(The lightskin brotha - Mike Hughes - is the guy who all the battle rappers recognize at the battles events. He does the majority of the 'battle rap' interviews on VladTV from what i can tell. :yes:)

What they SHOULD DO for the next season of 'Total Slaughter' is....

  • Keep the same format as last year... :yes:
  • ie Have 8-10 emcees live in a house & hold another tournament...
  • But the top 3 Winners get to choose a 'Main Event' matchup with either: Royce, Joell, or Crooked. :cool:
  • But they cannot all choose the same person. :smh:
  • Or put all their names in a hat... end let the Top 3 Winners each pick a random Slaughterhouse member.

- If Winner 1 Chooses Royce...
- And Winner 2 Chooses between Crooked & Joell...
- Then Winner 3 automatically gets whoever is left. :dunno:

Grand Finale

These will be the (3) 'Main Event' Battles for the 'Live Show' at a big venue (Like Hammerstein Ballroom again).
Plus throw a few smaller (Smack) matchups on the 'undercard'. :cool:

And... :itsawrap:

Any thoughts? :dunno:

Cool idea, a disadvantage to the slaughterhouse dudes though cause they would get less time to prep. The battlers gonna have who they want to battle in their head already if they win and probably be writing for them well in advance.
 
smh.....all the gas they gave Tay Roc, talking about "DNA got bodied", man i got DNA winning the first 2 rounds. i'm never taking the word of the people at these events again. it was ridiculous the way that crowd was cockbuffing Roc

...but Tay-Roc is really average to me. There is nothing about Tay Roc that is impressive to me.

Good point.

But that's why I was saying let the winners draw names out of a hat. To make it random.

Also the TV show finishes taping a few months before the live event... So everyone would get the same amount of 'prep time' for a main event battle.. Like 2-4 months, or so.

That way the Slaughterhouse emcees only have to focus on writing bars for just their opponent. Not everybody else. :smh:

Serius Jones accused Lush One of not paying him and other battlers for not paying them in full for that Ether card.

Lush One was CLEARLY lying, and must've changed his story a million times.

Also, it seems someone shot at Lush One, lol.

That dude sounds drugged the fuck out. Crazy.
