Got the message this AM. Already paid for it. I HATE ads. Until they start tripin about sharing I'm not ok with the increases but it is what it is, that's just where we are at. Cancelled Netflix because they sent me one too many messages that I was sharing when my other fam already has it.

I was using my ex-wife's netflix, but when she put one of her other sisters on it kicked me off, so I started using my other friends Netflix. I'm using one of my other friends Hulu and that friend is using my Disney Plus.
I hate ads, so I might end up doing the same thing you did considering but there's really nothing I want to see other than Reacher, so I may or I may not do it

This just affirms my decision to not renew my membership a few months back. I rarely used their video/music services anyways, but the big thing for me was that their ability to deliver on time had gone to shit. They were never the absolute cheapest but the convenience of Prime was unmatched, and they were dead nuts reliable when it came to delivering on the promised date.
That was no longer my experience over the last year. Their service went off the edge of a cliff. It got to the point where I fully expected to receive the "good news your package is still on the way but running late" update every time I ordered something. An actual on time delivery became a pleasant surprise. FOH
Funny thing is I've only ordered from them a handful of time since dropping the service.
I actually do pay for ad-free YouTube though

I would have gotten prime even if prime video didn't exist. Always viewed that streaming service as a bonus even though I know the cost of it is passed on via prime membership. Every now and then they have some good stuff. I will be watching the ads. Not paying any extra for prime.
