You must have saw one of those fake trailers people do all the time. Like,I said they announced Tower of God last year and the first trailer came out in November.

And,it came from a manhwa. It's way different than a manga..
i am talking about the manga it self no trailers. the manga if i am not mistaking was only online.
so the first ep what they just showed i read online but i dont read manga like that. so i stopped. then someone said they were going to animate it.
obviously he was right because it came out.

MY HERO ACADEMIA: VIGILANTES

looks good they can take a break in the future and animate this in the mean time.

Wouldn't be the worse idea. Luckily MHA is seasonal, but I think it's still going to catch up to the manga this upcoming season. I'm not normally a fan of Filler, but this wouldn't really be Filler in the truest form.

Fillers are the reason I can't get into One Piece. Its already long and it's hard to figure out what is filler vs the main story. Plus it seems like the episodes are only 15 odd minutes. I know its mostly an Asian thing but I dont understand why people think it's so great of a series.im positive that One Piece doesn't even rank in my top 10 favorite anime.

by the way tower of god is good

This first season is going to be them doing tests.

Im still at the beginning of the manhwa and that's all they're doing...A friend of mines told me after they're done with the tests that's when the actual story begins.

Honestly I feel like people are just jumping on the bandwagon early. People were naming this the next best thing off the first episode and nothing really happened. I could see people jumping on hard at episodes 3/4 and even then these episodes are clearly only laying the foundation for the series. It has alot of potential and I plan to keep watching, but I'm not feeling all of the unneeded hype.

For content creators especially, I think they dont want to miss the next Demon Slayer. A lot of people/reviewers were not really talking about Demon Slayer until around episode 18/19 and it was all over Twitter. Content creators need to draw an audience and separate themselves from the competition. In some ways, not initially talking about Demon Slayer (insert any popular series) before the hype takes away from your attitude of being an authority on the subject of anime.

Im currently reading the manhwa and they're still doing tests.A friend of mines thats been trying to get me to read it for years told me,the story actually begins after they're done with the tests.

I have a feeling season 2 is where they're going to start the actual story because they cut alot of stuff from the anime to make the pace faster than it should.

As,for Demon Slayer part of the problem is that theyre making the next arc into a movie. I understand, why they did it like that because the arc is pretty short in the mangs. On top of that, you rarely have any show that broadcast year around like One Piece or Black Clover. Most shows stay on for a few months and then come back next year or two years later for the new season.

I'm not really comparing the two series or even downplaying Tower of God. I believe it is a good anime so far. However, I just don't like the hype a new ( not counting web series) anime is getting. At least let it get mid season before giving it series of the year status lol. Crunchyroll is doing a great job marketing the show though.

The first two episode doesn't have the same impact as say the first episode or second of Gantz, Death Note, Attack on Titian, Naruto,Prison School or One Punch Man. The first episode of Tower of God bearly kept my attention. That doesn't mean it isn't a good series. It just hasn't earned the hype it's been getting in my opinion.
