I've seen both animes you mentioned and I don't see it at all.


Now,the anime I see SL being heavily influenced and that's Sword Art Online...It's basically an adult version of SAO.

While,there's been MMORPG animes before SAO. SAO took the genre to a whole level before Solo Leveling was created.

There are a lot of anime that follow the same concept as solo leveling. I saw one last year where dude found a secret portal to another world and he had to do missions to level up. But I didnt finish it.

Solo leveling is just that dope. I dont know why lol

Outside the Beru fight,Jinwoo pretty much struggles in the manhwa. Not to the point where he's about to die but he does struggle in the manhwa.

That's been my issue with Japan adapting Korean comics because the pacing is too fast. It goes from A to G to Z in a blink of an eye.


The Jeju Island arc doesn't go into much how the Japanese guild was using the island as a cover to take over South Korea.The Japanese guild was planning to leave the South Korean S-ranked hunters on the island to be killed by the ants so they could take over South Korea.

The producer and director is working on another anime. It will probably be 2027 until season 3 comes out.




The two beings at the end play an important part for the rest of the series.


I knew Solo Leveling was going to be huge. It plays into the weak character being OP trope that's out now.

yeah knew would be few years smh
and yeah u are right they are basically reversing it so when he does meet other op characteres
we really see how stronger they are

for example is not really spoiler but blue being looked like an ice elf solo had problems fighting one
and they explained they are different kingdoms with OP bosses and they looked like two
the ranking i dont know cause the hairy one said the woman isnt going to like this
