Anyone ever worked 7 days straight?

Do it for yourself and only yourself. Being too much of a company man will inevitably lead to cats playing you at every turn. Keep that in mind.
I used to do the 7-day thing with two jobs, back-to-back. Working hard and only half as smart. I'm getting better though!

Shit at my job they asking me to work a extra 3 days on overtime. The older guys on my shift are like man do it we need you. Being new I do want the overtime ,but on the same token I want to be home. Making over 3k in a week would be a pleasure.

I've had to work 21 days in a row back in the day. 12 hour shifts when UPS went on strike back in the day.
Made me appreciate the good jobs I've had since. I roll my eyes when someone complains about having to work an extra day when all they do is work at a desk, in an air conditioned office with some leverage in how they deal with their boss.

I want to do it because I'm saving up for a house. Want to put a nice down payment without assistance so my notes can be really cheap. Plus I'm looking to have some cash to fix it up when I move in. man in oct.2005 i worked 7pm-7am every single day of the month...my checks were averaging 2500 every 2 weeks..and i did exempt on my shit to get all my money...

Bro that house is in Galveston County which is all in the area of Galveston. You can purchase an almost 1700 sq ft house in this area in the 160k range. In a nice area where you could leave your house unlocked and not be worried. League City is the place to live bro. The median income is way above the state average. My 1 problem with this city is a brother can't get a haircut. I've gone to cutting my head bald due to that. You can move to Dickinson down the road for 15k less for the same house.

Yeah it wouldn't be so bad ,but I'm qualifying for my 1st job and it would be hard to work immediately by yourself on overtime when that shift is short on workers. I'll probably end up doing it because my ass needs/wants the money. I mean to make over 3k in a fucking weak is tempting. I'd work those 3 nights next weekend, but my girlfriend's bday is coming up. Its like what do you choose?

I work offshore and sometimes I leave from there. Shit, I don't need a barber, but I need another crib. How are the hurricane and storm issues out there? Do I need to worry?
I live near the water and I didn't have to get insurance to cover that. Man I didn't have any hard rain from that last storm. Man its a nice area. You should come check out League City out sometime. Look the demographics of the city up.
