Yep, both are easy money. I’m in EV, tech and logistics. Just sitting out until elections end now to see what will move but come December, I’m going to be mr. short sell like @Tito_Jackson is mr. options.

In logistics, I’m looking for small cap companies now that will benefit (e.g tracking software, digital personalization features, last mile delivery optimization routes) Both $FDX and $AMZN are struggling with last mile delivery.

Solve that problem and you’ll be a billionaire.
lol!! Yeah, man. Today was easy money on almost every Put contract. It should be illegal to do this.

Are you playing a particular sector?
Are you scalping your options?
I like tech. In my opinion, it is fairly predictable. I like to watch the airlines for a quick large jump. Most of the time you can double your money when airlines move.

Everything is down now. I would get ready to grab a few long calls very soon because Christmas is around the corner and despite not having stimulus money, people will still buy TV, games, etc.

There will be a rebound. Red is the time to buy, always.

Nice...But when you say these puts are easy money. Are you scalping them as option plays(holding them for a few min-hours as they dip lower and taking profits)or holding them longer(week to months?)

Too rich? You big money this week will all those wins. I know $PINS gains has you thinking about early retirement from the game!
We'll see man..have a call play for FB expires friday!
Haha I wish! I’m just trying to string together a bunch of consistent small wins to build up my funds. I just got out of red last month. I’m aiming for consistency first then I’ll start upping my position sizes more as I have more capital to work with.

nio up 7% today

happy i bought another 50 yesterday

As crazy as things are in the market. I don't understand how anything is up anything beyond 2-3%.
I give full credit to those that are brave enough to be holding positions through this craziness. It's only going to get even crazier in the next couple of weeks.

just buy time...dec or jan calls

That's a possible strategy. But when you add up increasing corona cases, an election and results that may not fully resolve until the beginning of Jan or longer it's a hell of a gamble.

But, if you're going to do it then the safest way(if you can afford it) is to buy far out calls.

When you say “scalp” are you reducing your amount of shares down to your buy in price?

Scalping, imo, especially with uncertainity is one of the best plays you can make.
Once you're pretty sure you have a setup based on catalyst, volume, momenteum, recognizable patterns etc and the price action is going in your direction(bullish, bearish)etc. Nothing sweeter than getting in and out in a specified time frame(minutes to hours).

In my case its a trade to get in and out with a profit target in mind. If it takes more than a day to get there its a swing.

I’m considering reducing my position by half in NIO I firmly believe it’s the next Tesla , I’ve doubled up already. The election has me slightly paranoid and I want to lock in profits. What are your thoughts?

I kept my little money in my pocket today. Was so tempted to take bullish position on $AAPL, $FB before the afternoon earnings reports. So let's see what the results say....

I predict a sell-off on both stocks despite the decent earnings.

Seems if you aren't $SNAP, $PINS investors don't care for you.

Understood, you’re essentially riding the wave regardless of the direction temporarily.

So... I tried my hand at shorting just now AH. Small size 25 shares of NIO. I got in at 31.68 and out at 30.88. Wasn't hard because the volume was low.

I cant answer that because I'm pretty risk adverse.

$TWTR $AAPL $FB $AMZN

Yea I got enough AAPL, wish I got FB a year ago..... Lot of money to be made You can not lose with FB, AMZN, AAPL, I haven't done knowledge on Twitter. I just dont use it, dont get it, even as a biz owner I use the other 3 and get their revenue streams. Its why I will never buy SNAP. The ads are annoying but I get Im not their market.

Someone tell $TWTR to take $SNAP with it.

How the hell does $AMZN losing money during this pandemic? That’s crazy to me!

$TWTR apparently dropped because they reported slowing user signup. They have half the planet how many more people do insiders expect?

No comment on $SNAP...I waiting for the SEC on that one.

You absolutely can lose on those stocks. For example if you bought $AAPL and $TSLA after the split... I think $137 and $540 respectively, you’re still in the hole. You’re still waiting to break even. This current market isn’t helping.

Now you either have to average down to get your cost per share lower or hope and pray they get back to those levels.

What is this telling us? To buy or sell

Right now is a scary time to buy anything and hold.

The reason for it is everything suggests we haven’t experienced the worst to come with this market.

Between the results with the election that’s going to last well into Jan and the pandemic it’s going to get alot worst before it gets better.

The overrall trend seems to be “red” days followed by “green” days. Today and yesterday are great examples of that. Scalping is perfect for this type of tend. Make money when it’s going down and make money when it’s going up. I’m still learning how to capitalize and be felixible like that.

But overall the market has been bearish and it’s going to continue for awhile.
