Cot damn! Is green all over the place today. It maybe too late, but, grab an option, realize the profit and sell.

Tomorrow morning is a crap shoot regarding which way the market will trend. But it will go hard in either direction. For all of you, it does not matter. We don't care. If the market goes up, we are buying calls, if the market goes down, we are buying puts. No matter what, tomorrow is black man money making day. It is a sure bet. Do not miss out!!!

If the market goes bearish tomorrow. What is an example of a ticker put option you'd buy to try and maximize?

$SPY? $UVXY? $SQQQ? $TSLA? $AAPL?
Something that had a strong bullish run today and play the flip tomorrow? etc

To be fully honest, I am advising my family to only do what they can afford. Some contracts are around $100, some are $1000+. So, just do what you can afford. It gonna be a total market shift. You can use robinhood or think or swim to see what is trending up before the market opens. Also, turn your TV to cnbc or fbn and leave on. Just pay attention to watch is happening live. Get in and get out. The day after, the market will likely reset from the crazy day. You can always jump back in the next day.

Again, I do not advise holding any contract that you purchase tomorrow overnight. However, you are free to do as you wish.

Even if you only make $50 or $100, it is still $50 or $100 more than you had. And now you have a bill paid for the month.

Get out. Tomorrow is unpredictable. You can always get back in with a portion of your profits.

Always secure profits.

thank you sir. it's been a long road filled with bumps and bruises. but the scars make you tougher and smarter

For sure. My scale is way lower. Still learning 1 contract at a time. I had a Nov 6 CVS call too (59.5) but freaked out about week or so ago and bailed too soon. I think it dipped so I was too cautious with the short exp date and wanted to recoup what I could. Oh well, next time.

Appreciate everyone that shares their experiences though. It def reduces the learning curve for folks like me.

This was my move. I went in solid on a bunch of stuff on my list last week and early this week and tech blew up this AM! I def left money on the table as I secured profits around open but finished up $200 on the day. That’s big for my account.

:money:

Only thing left are some NIO $39 calls for dec that I almost sold today, a couple SNAP spreads, AMC duds and a yolo solar play when Biden is confirmed the victor. Great day!

Yeah, it's looking like tomorrow will be another money maker. Again, I suggest getting in early, make your money, and get out. Look at anything except airlines. They are still too unpredictable.

starting out i wouldn't be doing short weekly options. gotta do at least monthly options. give yourself time to see and learn how the price movements flow

Anyone have advice on some “weed” plays?

My friend telling me to play the cheap one “aphria”. $APHA

i am avoiding them like the plague. i lost almost $40,000 in one day two years ago fucking around with tilray. that was the day they halted trading on it. wiped out all my gains for the first 3 quarters of the year. never again.

Yea typically I give myself at least a month...and I've only been doing them with companies Im already long and have been following. Def a good path to follow.

I was soooo tempted to buy STMP at 230. Too expensive for multiples though.

$APVO was a great run up today from $15.

$CGC option players are partying.
Shiiiiiiiit! It's was a free for all today. I rode my NIO and MSFT call options up to 75% gains.

If the stats are correct, we should be having at least one more day of total market gains.

For all of the new options players, consider doing a small contract with NIO in the morning to help you get comfortable buying and selling options. I will share my play.

Tonight, make sure your robinhood or think or swim accounts are set up to trade options.

Could you redirect me to the post that you showed how to get started with options?

Hey guys. It's looking like there will be a slight market pull back today. If you got call option profits out there lock them in early.

Also, consider opening a couple of put option contracts today.

just watched a lot of youtube videos about two years ago. that's when i started trading options. i am not an expert by any means. i don't get into the nitty gritty either. i just go by simple common sense and do some due diligence. and also, look, i have made a lot of mistakes. i have been investing for about 12 years now. so i have made a lot of mistakes. that's basically it bruh

..Yup. They did well this Q and just announced the CEO transition. I wish I would've stuck with my call a bit longer but I know in my heart I would have never waited for this power move so close to my exp date (Nov 6) so it's all good.

I'm long term with these blokes so I'm gonna continue to follow the price action and maybe try to take advantage the next time around. Still down from their 52 week & all time highs..I'ma true believer (for now)
