anyone trading options? this week I'm putting puts on SPY before fed announcement, and on KBH and LEN (homebuilders) because of houses being down and earning coming out thursday after hours. not an expert . open to thoughts.
Gonna do the same. Make sure you have your stop loss set though. It moves very fast when these reports come out.

MKBHD built a PC using the new Intel Arc A770 gaming GPU

I wish Intel came out with this last year when you couldn't find a GPU without paying thru the nose.

Now, there are rumors that Intel Arc GPUs are gonna get the axe (or be a limited run) due to financials/competition. Ethereum went proof-of-stake and mining is all but certainly dead (can see a glut of these coming to eBay). GPU boardmaker EVGA dropped out of making GPUs for NVIDIA.

Things aren't looking good for consumer GPU manufacturers. :smh:

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) -YouTube unveiled a new way for creators to make money on short-form video, as it faces intensifying competition from TikTok.

The Google-owned streaming service announced Tuesday that it would introduce advertising on its video feature Shorts and give video creators 45% of the revenue. That compares with its standard distribution of 55% for videos outside of Shorts, and TikTok's $1 billion fund for paying creators.

Hairstylist-turned-YouTube-creator Kris Collins, who goes by Kallmekris, lauded YouTube for offering revenue-sharing for Shorts.

"Other platforms are focused on getting people their 15 seconds of fame, which is great," she said. "But YouTube is taking a different approach. They're helping creators make stuff in multiple formats."

LONG BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Rocket Lab USA, Inc (Nasdaq: RKLB) (“Rocket Lab”, or “the Company”), a leading launch and space systems company, today revealed it has selected NASA’s historic Stennis Space Center in Mississippi as the location of its engine test facility for its reusable rocket, Neutron.

The Archimedes Test Complex will be located within the larger A Test Complex at Stennis Space Center across a 1 million square foot area for 10 years, with an option to extend the lease for an additional 10 years. The Archimedes Test Complex will include exclusive use and development of existing industrial NASA infrastructure and the Center’s A-3 Test Stand to develop and test Neutron’s Archimedes reusable engines. Rocket Lab has also secured a capital investment incentive from the Mississippi Development Authority to further develop the facilities and infrastructure at Stennis for Neutron. By expanding Stennis Space Center to include the Archimedes Test Complex, Rocket Lab is expected to create dozens of new jobs and make significant capital investments in the state of Mississippi.

Neutron is Rocket Lab’s reusable rocket in development, designed as a cost-effective, reliable, and responsive launch service to help build mega-constellations, deliver large spacecraft to low-Earth orbit, geostationary orbit, and interplanetary destinations, and to support a sustained human presence in space. Neutron will be powered by in-house designed and manufactured Archimedes reusable rocket engines and an advanced upper stage to enable high performance for complex satellite deployments.

Rocket Lab Founder and CEO, Peter Beck, says: “Before rockets flew to the Moon, they first had to go through Mississippi, and as we build a new rocket to reshape space access once again, Stennis is a fitting location for Neutron. Creating a test complex from scratch to the scale and complexity needed to test and develop Archimedes would have had an inconceivably long lead time, so the fact that we’ve secured Stennis and can leverage its existing infrastructure and test stand puts us on the fast-track to Neutron’s first launch. The icing on the cake is having fantastic partners like NASA and the state of Mississippi behind us to bring innovative rocketry, economic development, and new jobs to the Gulf Coast.”

Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) may start manufacturing one out of four iPhones in India by 2025, J.P.Morgan analysts said, as it strived to migrate some production away from China amid mounting geopolitical tensions and strict COVID-19 lockdowns in the country.

J.P. Morgan had an Overweight and $200 price target on Apple. It expects Apple to move 5% of iPhone 14 production from late 2022 to India, the second-biggest smartphone market after China, Reuters reports.

J.P.Morgan expects 25% of all Apple products, including Mac, iPad, Apple Watch, and AirPods, to be manufactured outside China by 2025 from 5% currently.

"Taiwanese vendors such as Hon Hai and Pegatron play a key role in the relocation to India. In the medium to long term, we also expect Apple to qualify local India manufacturing suppliers," the report quoted J.P.Morgan analysts.

It's almost that time. Is it priced in yet? Or, are we playing the downside? Granted, I don't trade as much anymore since it's become a bit of a hassle.
