Last week Mark Monroe said the next wealth transfer will happen in the next 5-10 years. He said its time to start investing for the payoff in the future.

Damn AMD down to $67
Amazing.

NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) and Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD) shares are lower by 6.5% to $123.94 and 10.8% to $67.76, respectively, since Wednesday's session in possible reaction to this week's comments from Fed Chair Powell suggesting there could be a period of lower economic growth and as the broader market reacts to the Fed's decision to hike rates by 75 bps.

An economic slowdown could drive consumers to cut back on discretionary spending, cause weakness in end markets and impact semiconductor and chip demand.

Seems like a buying opportunity

Was reading that the changes they made in Etherium will also lower the demand for gpus.

Agreed. I don't get it, but agreed. $AMD maintains guidance and meets their projected numbers... :dunno:
(Sorry to do it, but I have to quote Mark Monroe again)

"The stock is not the company, and the company is not the stock."

Even powerhouses with billions in cash on hand like Apple and Microsoft are feeling the pain. The drops are across the board. It's not targeted. If the conviction is there, just look at it as a buying opportunity**.

**At least thats what I'm forcing myself to say and do, because investing is for the future. Day to day or month to month fluctuations shouldn't shake you out.

These young kids are embracing the FIRE movement hard....

I resonated alot with this passage -
She realized her food spending had gotten out of control and set about trying to trim it down.
“I started bringing lunch to work every day, cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner and really focusing on those food costs,” she says. She also traded expensive nights out for hosting dinner parties at her apartment.

Going out to eat alot will drain your fucking pockets....

Agreed. Food and drink costs don't seem like much in the moment, but they really add up over time (to the tune of thousands of dollars a year). 5 bucks here, 10 bucks there, 20 here, 30 there. And of course much more for fancier, sit-down restaurant meals.

A lot of young people / young professionals get caught up in some bad habits when everything they spend is on debit or CC.

Always good to be aware of what your spending habits / trends are ... and realistically what's a safe budget for you as you age. What bills or debt(s) to be weary of, etc.

Is it any good? Pros and Cons?
Pros:

Active community - When I say active, I mean active. If you pay for the full program, you'll get access to:
- 7am charting class (Live Zoom where you can ask questions, talk about stock levels, etc - 1hr long)
- 9:15am - 12noon / 2pm - 4:30 (Live Zoom to chat with other members and the admins
- 7pm charting class (Live Zoom, could go for 2 hrs if they are rolling)
- Book club where they discuss finance books
- Womens group - just for ladies to talk stocks
- Pop up discussions on discord
- Access to their algorithm that shows buy, sell, and trend changes (subjective) on TradingView
- Courses on Finance, Crypto, Futures and some other stuff (I dont remember)
- Private discord group

Cons:
Pricey - Its over $2,000 a year
Sometimes the zoom chat gets too loud, with admins playing music and random people not muting their mics.

Here is a clip of their meetup in 2021 - Quite a few came back sick with COVID afterwards. :(
