New $RKLB alert from Simplywall.St

New minor risk - Profitability
The company is currently unprofitable and not forecast to become profitable over the next year.
  • Trailing 12-month net loss: US$163m
  • Forecast net loss in 1 year: US$159m
This is considered a minor risk. Companies that are not profitable are more likely to be burning through cash and less likely to be well established. Ultimately, shareholders want to see a good return on their investment and that generally comes from sharing in the company's profits. Without profits, the company is under pressure to grow significantly while potentially having to reduce costs and possibly needing to take on debt or raise capital to remain afloat.

Currently, the following risks have been identified for the company:
Minor Risks
  • Currently unprofitable and not forecast to become profitable next year (US$159m net loss next year).
  • Shareholders have been diluted in the past year (3.0% increase in shares outstanding).
  • Significant insider selling over the past 3 months (US$400k sold).

Im all for it. Its been boring for a while now.
This month was the first time in a while I did NOT make my monthly DCA deposit on the 1st. The price points stunk according to the moving averages, even for my broad market ETFs. And the past few years since I've been watching the market, there always seems to be some dip in Sept-Oct that I wish I would've waited to buy...

So this year I'm tryna be patient, save the dough in the cash account a few months and hopefully have my deposit money ready when some volatility hits.

I here alot of Financial Advisors recommend Target Date Funds for those not interested in managing their funds....My 401K is in a TDF
Yup. I just helped a friend set up her Roth and ended up deciding that the TDF was the best route to go: DCA, select it and forget it, since it does the reallocation work for you over time.

If/ when I leave my job I'll probably roll my 401k over and do the same.
