For the T-Bill, are these correct inputs?

You'll want to use the high rate. It's synonymous to the discount rate.

The investment rate is used to compare to other investments rates of return. The two calculations differ by using 360 vs 365 days per year in their calculation.

Interest received in 17 weeks - $88.09.

Sounds about right...

$5000 - ( $98.238139 * 50)

Edit

Shit is crazy. I looked up my rates at nfcu, I can only get 1.06% in my money market. Even at 4x $5k, I wouldn't earn as much interest in 4 months/17 weeks as that of this t-bill

$20k * 1.06% ( ignore monthly compounding) ~ $212 / 3 ~ $70.67

What's up with all these forex scammers on youtube. They all follow the same format of showing their luxury cars and post how they just made 50k in one trade and you just need to buy their class and join their discord. They all seem to play the humble loving bf/husband card yet anytime they get exposed they turn out to be pricks. I think there is one company behind all these channels that pays them to get people to sign up for their products.

They've been around forever. If it sounds too good to be true...

I'm sitting on a nice amount of cash collecting almost 5% interest but its for pulling the trigger on a good investment property this fall.

That's what I did in the 2000s when working like mad to save up for a healthy downpayment in early-2009. Made sure I had money invested, but more that was quickly and easily accessible when it came time to buy the place (current property).

Rocket Lab's stock declines after founder files to sell $22M in shares. Rocket Lab USA (NASDAQ:RKLB) on Tuesday fell as much as 13% to a two-and-a-half-month low after Peter Beck, founder of the space-launch company, filed to sell shares valued at $22.3 million.

Anyone buying Arm on ipo day? I usually dont buy ipo's but I am buying some.

Nope. I usually wait a bit on IPOs. Hopefully, the SP will fall enough to accumulate (or just DCA). $52/sh IPO.

How ARM makes money:

The big threat to me is the open source and royalty-free designs using RISC-V. But that seems to be 7-10 years away :dunno: .

****EDIT - Speculation***

Just speculating, when companies go public, they become beholden to their shareholders. Shareholders want ever increasing return. ARM will eventually run into a scenario where they'll need to grow revenue. Higher licensing fees? Higher royalty fees? Different royalty structure (per core?, per CPU/GPU function [cellphone vs data center, gaming GPU vs AI GPU])?

All the more reason RISC-V will make sense...eventually.

The premiums on CLM are too high.
I want to buy more.
Was experimenting with shorting futures today, it has to be one of the most nerve racking things to do. By the time I submitted my order and went to look at my position I was down $100  Positive day though, lost $150 then made $250.
Nice, which ones did you trade ?
I use the MES because I can control my risk very easy. ES is for the big boys.

I find that if I’m down bigly at opening, by 1130 I’m going to be rewarded.

Just think... those averages are for people that have 401Ks.... a huge amount of people don't (and I'm assuming no 403B, no IRA, etc, either). Not that a retirement account is the only way to have something put away for retirement of course.
