More ARM reading if interested:

"If you were to ask chip analysts what the most important semiconductor companies in the world are, most would include TSMC, Samsung, ASML, Intel, and Arm in their answer. Yet Arm makes a fraction of the revenues of those companies, only earning $2.7B of revenue and about $670M of operating profit at a 25% margin in the fiscal year ending March 2023. Those are good operating margins, but not for a leading semiconductor IP company with dominating market share in its key segments.

Revenue growth at Arm has been decent but far from incredible, Arm’s revenues have grown at a 12% CAGR over the last 10 years. Going forward, Arm’s main end-market smartphones is likely to be a mature and saturated segment. Competition from RISC-V is emerging in low-end microcontrollers. Cloud and datacenter is the most promising segment for Arm going forward in terms of penetration potential, but this segment alone won’t take Arm’s total designed-in shipment volumes much higher."

..wish I would've held on to some of my XOM shares and just laid up and collected dividends a lil longer

I think xom is will be good for the next couple years. What no one talks about with EV's is while it may be cheap to charge your tesla now but when most cars on the road are electric they will just raise electricity prices and we will be back to paying high fuel/electricity prices.

Competition is good. Gotta keep executing on time. Interested to see what's the sentiment on their upcoming server products.

I forget when Meteor Lake (new laptop chips) was supposed to hit but I know they wanted some of that back to school shopping money. Still, a December launch should bode well for the holidays assuming the volume is there.

I also see this, no mention of them restarting the project:

9:44 AM EDT, 09/20/2023 (MT Newswires) -- Apple (AAPL) and Goldman Sachs (GS) were last year explored an investing feature in iPhones that would allow users to buy and sell stocks, CNBC reported Wednesday, quoting unnamed sources with knowledge of the matter.

The project was called off after stock markets slumped at the time, the report said.

Apple and Goldman representatives declined to comment, according to CNBC.

They, along with plenty of other retailers have a huge problem with shoplifting. Its been a factor in bad earning reports.
Yeah. There are tons of stores that will have to close stores. I went to a Dollar Tree recently and it was a natural disaster. They were out of everything you wanted. I’m trying ti load up on dryer sheets and spray starch and the shelves were bare, the stores were filthy, the staff is lackadaisical. Stores like this with zero online presence will suffer down the line.

Shares of film studios and streamers are getting a boost from news of a deal to end the Hollywood writers strike. The Writers Guild of America and the Alliance of Motion Picture Television Producers said late Sunday that they had reached a tentative agreement to end the monthslong strike.

Citi has released a list of 20 large-cap growth stocks that it says present opportunities in the event of a pullback.

"Our call since early summer has been to hold Growth and look to buy on pullbacks," Citi analyst Scott Chronert said in a note released Monday, adding that Citi has had a tactical preference for cyclicals. "However, on the heels of the strong Cyclicals surge during June and July, and our upwardly revised S&P 500 target of 4600, the messaging has been to buy on pullbacks more broadly," he wrote.

Citi also notes that the Russell 1000 Growth Index RLG has sold off more than 6% from its mid-July high, although two-thirds of the stocks in the index are down 10% or more, with one-third down more than 20%. "This sets up for interesting intermediate to long-term stock selection opportunities," Chronert said.

The analyst acknowledged that there is still a risk of economic softening ahead, if not a recession. "Yet, the argument that Growth stocks can show fundamental resilience during periods of broader economic weakening is a theme that we have considered for several years now," he said.

Set against this backdrop, the analyst firm has compiled a tech-heavy list of 20 stocks that have a buy rating from Citi, have at least 75% of market cap assigned to growth, according to Russell, and have experienced a decline of 10% or more from year-to-date highs since March 31. Other common characteristics of the stocks include consensus estimates of free cash flow per share above March 31 levels and free cash flow per share within or above market-implied five-year- forward estimates.

Tech heavyweights Apple Inc. (AAPL) and NVIDIA Corp. (NVDA) are on the list, along with Pinterest Inc. (PINS), Lam Research Corp. (LRCX), Teradata Corp. (TDC), Datadog Inc. (DDOG), MongoDB Inc. (MDB), HubSpot Inc. (HUBS) and KLA Corp. (KLAC). The other stocks cited by Citi are Lockheed Martin Corp. (LMT), DraftKings Inc. (DKNG), Las Vegas Sands Corp. (LVS), Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. (CMG), Netflix Inc. (NFLX), TKO Group Holdings Inc. (TKO), Rockwell Automation Inc. (ROK) and Paycom Software Inc. (PAYC), and healthcare stocks Bruker Corp. (BRKR), Insulet Corp. (PODD) and Intuitive Surgical Inc. (ISRG).

No fam. It's not all heuristics. Even on YouTube, folks are training clients to be traders. Teri Trade and Travel is good. She has a different approach but she promises a 1000 a day and folks are hitting the goalposts. 2500 a course tho.
Teri Ijeoma course it is now $10,000. I’m kicking myself in the ass for not buying it at $2,500
