You are correct about the “decisive blah, blah, blah nonsense” I’ve been posting. It is all a charade.

so, I will no longer post “decisive” information in this thread which I’m sure the rest of the participants will appreciate.
You forgot this.

Yeah. Grabbed 100 IDEX $4 options this morning. Got out around noon. About 110% rip.

Done for the day. Taking my profits and moving on.
nice! next time, put me on game to some of these.

my amazon is doing real good since i got in a few months ago. its my favorite long term steady stock. i have its real value around 3300...and that's just now. by the time we get there, they will do something else innovative.

Yeah, KIRK, took off. I was paying more attention to IDEX and Microsoft. At the last minute, I grabbed 10 $200 call options for MSFT. It looks like it should be at least $500 profit in the morning.

For the new guys:

Although there are extended hours for trading, this does not apply for options. So, you can buy at an option at 3:59 and from there you have to just watch until the market reopens at 9:30am.

Most would advocate never holding a position overnight. Which is a good rule of thumb. You can always buy other plays. But, every now and thwn, you see a runner that you know is getting action AH.

Some will criticize you for small wins. But, my strategy has always been this: if I can average $500 a day, with 253 trading days, thats $126,000 per year. Some days are much better, some are are not.

When I first started, I aimed for $100 a day which is $25,300 annually. An entire salary for some people.

You can grow $1000.00 to $10k by being patient and continuously learning.

Was up and down today. Got out of EVOK at $4.75 but only paid $2.62 so nice lil come up. Trailing stop loss worked beautifully. Ended up holding VBIV too long, could have sold at pre-market for 20% profit but waited for press release (which was positive) but shit tanked! So confusing how different stocks react to positive news. Anyway, trying to buy a bit more for the rebound.

I took too long staring at MNKD and it took off without me. Now I think it’s oversold and about to come back down so I will wait for the slide and get in then. I bought MARK at support and DMPI extra low so looking to exit those this week after a quick jump. Got back into SELB to sell on the way back up to $4. That play looks to be working. Now that I have been following an actual trading plan my last half dozen or so trades have been profitable, small but positive.

I got out of IDEX today with a nice profit.
Picked up some AAL, CCL, NCLH, CARV.
Looking into KIRK, TRIB, DMPI and SELB.
I am thinking of MARK but need to do some more research.
The travel stocks will return so those are all long term holds.

Both MARK and FRSX are rumored to be the vendors for the cameras in LAX. Not sure if it’s either. FRSX seems to be going up in AH on speculation it’s them. I jumped in and took a flyer on it and will look to get out quick tomorrow unless it’s confirmed. Can probably do well in pre-market unless news drops first.

That would be a nice deal. Especially if they end up going long term. Maybe they can land the new rental car depot too. I will grab some in the AM.

Anyone use Ally Invest?
I primarily use Robinhood and ThinkorSwim.

Since I can only open one account on each platform, I mirror many of my trades on Vanguard and WeBull for my two sons who are 8 and 4. I plan to turn over the accounts to them when they turn 25. Until then, I am teaching them how it works and drilling it in their heads that this is a mandatory obligation. So, right now, they think everyone in the world does this just like eating dinner and doing homework.
