Hope no one had Netflix stock. It's down 25%.
I would have cried!
I really thought the pot stocks were going to take off, but they are hardly moving...
IBIO was at $.67 on Friday and is now trading at around $2.50. Another stock affected by the Ebola drama.
got dam RWLK is up over 12% and I'm still in the hole.
Carefully watch Arrowhead research over the next few days. Possibly dump and $1 a share. ARWR. Hepatitis cure experiments show promise. This is a buy and sell if you feel comfortable. Chart it first.
ARWR i wouldnt touch anymore. already made some money off them. there was some news last week about the company lied about their test results. stock dropped like about 40%
I'm up .30. Bout to sell and watch again. Got 1000 shares. That's enough for me to get out and watch for another bounce.
for the investors on here, anyone of yall scooping up stocks heavily this year? Taking advantage of the bull session or you're being cautious this year?
I made just about $10,000 last year and then got greedy at the very end and lost $3000 to wrap up the year on a profit of about 7k and change. I was daytrading for the most part and i'm doing same this year. My stock of choice was been primarily rad (riteaid). Yesterday it was up 13% at one point and then dropped slightly. On the move again today.
I was lamenting a couple of weeks ago about how i could have made half a million last year if i had had the foresight on rad. I was sitting on a $75,000 line of credit and had about $25,000 in the bank. Could have bet it all on rad. It would have been worth $500,000 by december of last year. But it's water under the bridge now.
So, what's the deal with the investors on here? What are you buying and how are you playing the market in general this year?
I'm in love with this thread right here. Granted, i'm a broke college kid but i'll be investing all the extra change i get into Rite Aid and Delta Airlines for the rest of the year and next year and hope that i can turn out a decent profit.
What stocks are on your radar for the upcoming holiday season?
yes. last year was the year to stock up on riteaid. they quadrupled in value. but i believe they will bounce back. they just got hit just like everyone else but once they bottom out and the market starts turning around i think they should turn around too. overall the company's fundamentals are not looking bad. they have trimmed all the excess fat and that was evident all through last year. they would be the perfect stock for college dude up there a few paragraphs aboverite aid is taking a beating this year
Stock of the day: ZAZA.
what they about?
stock of the day: Zaza.
Energy Corp.
Opened at 2.90 and has a high of 5.75 so far today. Now hovering around $5 a share. If you got in early you can dump now for a quick profit.
What stocks are on your radar for the upcoming holiday season?
just took a look @ it. i'm not touching that one bruh. but lemme know how you make out
Cheap airlines like JetBlue and Hawaiian airlines. Watch for the bounce. Be ready to pull the trigger. Small retail and hotel chains. Most won't report earning until next years but they will bounce during the Xmas shopping season. Really research your shit first. JcPenny just hired a black CEO. I loaded up for a brief hold. I'm up .40 on 2000 shares. Radio shack should dip below .80 then bounce as much as .30 or more during the holidays. Those motheruckers WILL file bankruptcy soon so be on your shit. Really research your picks and accept losses. I'm holding 100 share of Denny's for the holiday travelers staying in shit hotels and parting for the holidays. Got in under $7 and should hit $8 before Xmas. These are my picks and don't blame me if your shit loses. Lmao!!!
Thinking of getting in on Twitter ahead of Monday's earnings report. What does BGOL say?
Yeah I'm learning to trade on the bounce. I've been trading AAPL for the past 2 months watching it fluctuate between $96 & $102. U made some sensible suggestions. I'm hoping some retail stocks will dip right before the peak shopping season so that I can ride that wave a little.
Good. I've bought and sold several stocks over and over again. I got lazy and stopped looking for new money because the shit was so easy. I constantly buy and sell Ford, Radio Shack, JcPenny, Smith & Wesson and Fannie and Freddie Mac.
I just bout 1000 shares of Fannie Mae, it went up .30, and sold it. A few days later it tanks back down under $2, i bought another thousand, and it went up to $2.23, and i sold it again. Same week. I bought 1000 shares of Radio shack at roughly .80, and sold it at $1.06 or some shit like that, next day. I don't even fuck with those $30, i get in and out, same day or with 72 hours. Just think if one had millions, and could buy 100,000 shares of Radio shack, per say, and sell at .25, every other day? Tons of easy money. That's how penny trading works.
