Apple bending nikkas over again, no lube...no lube... no homo...pause

Many school systems get pimped out by Apple on the cheep...just to create legions of sheeple addicted to the brand..life long.

Or..

Believe it or not

Some people don't like Android.

I know you can't imagine anyone not liking it, I mean only a sheep wouldn't like Android.

I've tried it and yeah, do not like it at all. I had a galaxy tablet that pretty much collected dust until it was so old I just threw it out. SO, I pay for what I like. I know Apple isn't perfect, but it fits me better. But funny thing, I never ever see Android users admitting anything not perfect about the Android OS. So who exactly are the sheep lol

Shits far from perfect, I own both, mainly use android because Apple is too limited for me, I use Samsung phones and Apple computers.... but there is a sheep mentality to a lot of iPhone users, look at the green vs blue bubble shit that was going on....

Apple Says iPhones Will Better Support Third-Party Displays and Batteries Later This Year

"First, Apple said True Tone will work with third-party iPhone displays later this year:
True Tone requires precise calibration to function properly, and it is not possible to engage a default calibration for third-party displays, which can result in unexpected behavior. For this reason, Apple disables the True Tone feature when third-party displays are used, but enables all other aspects of the display. In an effort to offer more complete support for third-party parts, starting later in 2024, Apple will allow consumers to activate True Tone with third-party parts to the best performance that can be provided.

They will be able to deactivate True Tone in Settings if the display does not perform to their satisfaction.

So... This morning I got a phone call from a friend...... To tell me about this Apple B.S.
She told me that her grandkids are on the way to see her tomorrow.
She wanted to call to check them in early.
She proceeded to say "Serri Call Southwest" on her Apple phone.
She told me that before she could even finish saying "WEST"
there was no ring or anything but a male Indian voice came on the line and said
"Southwest Airlines how can I help you?"
She proceeded to say she wanted to do the check in and the Agent told her that
the kids were on stand-by and couldnt be checked in. She told him...
"I paid for these tickets , so how did they get put on stand-by?"
He said well thats the status of their flight ......Afetr a lot of back and forth
HE fianlly told her they would refund her money and then she could re-purchase the tickets
She hung up and then picked up the phone to physically call Southwest.
They told her that it is exactly what she expected .. An attempted scam.
They issued a warning today at the airline for this and
Apple is about to get their ass reemed if they don't fix this.
She checked her Grand Babies in and all is well......
She says this is the last day she will be using serri and she's going back to Android in the morning.
Like I said before ..... Apple USE TO BE a safer bet... Not anymore.
Just some food for thought

I don't believe this is an Apple issue.
You're friend should be more careful giving out her phone number and answering unknown callers.
When people sign up for apps, newsletters, store memberships, websites, new accounts etc... with their phone number it's sold to data brokers and spammed.
I recommend creating an alternate number with Google Voice for junk accounts.
Real number only goes to real people.

To turn on Silence Unknown Callers, go to Settings > Phone, then scroll down, tap Silence Unknown Callers, and turn on the feature. Calls from unknown numbers are silenced and sent to your voicemail, and appear in your recent calls list.

Siri cannot call numbers that are not in your contact list, or that you didn't specifically say (like 555-1212)

Willing to bet, it searched the web, and she clicked on a bogus ad by mistake.

My bad, the "Serri" misspell threw me off. I thought it was a relation.
Siri is a risky way of calling numbers if it's not in your contacts list.

I'm 44 and have a homie that's turning 43 with a grankid in kindergarten. It's almost like being a teenager again and hearing a friend or someone your age is having a kid. Eventually you get to an age when it's not as shocking anymore. I'm at that age, lol. I was just dating a 39 year old woman with a newborn grandbaby. Then I have friends that are my age and older having their 1st kid or new babies of their own. From Meemaws to Buzzer Beaters. Wild times out here, bruvs. Stay dangerous.

Dude I am 47, but my friend base are nerds like me so we got started late in life. 35 I think when I had my first, and my wife is older than me so we're gonna be MAD old when grandkids come around (I hope)

39 with a newborn?!?!? Did she JUST come out of the maternity ward hitting them skreets?! How you get knocked up that late in life and not married or in a serious enough relationship that homie is there?

The 39 year old had a newborn grandbaby. Her kid was 20 and pregnant. She had that kid at like 18, I think.

I was 30 with my one and only child, but I was considered old having babies, lol. However, a lot of the women that I meet in their late 30s are trying to beat the buzzer with last minute babies. I have to tell them that I'm Jamaican, just not that Jamaican. I don't plan to be a 50 year old with a toddler.

Bruvs, I just depressed my own damn self off of this joke. I texted my 14 year old Apple loyalist this meme and started giving her context of the joke with a quick background story of Back to the Future. "A teenager traveled 30 years back in time from 1985 to 1955....that would be like someone from today traveling back to the 1985..." She interjected "1995". I thought her smart ass was trying to be funny. Then she continued, "30 years ago would be closer to 1995." Fam, the lump in my throat when I realized that she's right.

Bruvs; are the Mobb Deep 90s really the 1950s for these YNs? And the 80s are like how we looked at the 1940s? FOH!!! Yall ninjas are old-olde, with the "e" at the end, for real!

You do realize 20 yrs ago is still in the 2000s.. 25 yrs ago would just be 1999… we’ve been in this millennium for 24yrs now.. now any decade prior got to go back 10 more yrs.. house party is 34 yrs old.. living color is 34 yrs old.. their final show ended 30 yrs ago in may 94.. people not understanding the time jump and the difference in mentality

I hear you, but I might legit put hands and feet to a YN if he referred to Biggie as their Chubby Checker or some shit. Looking at my coming of age as if it was Stand By Me instead of Juice. FOH

And just to drive the point home even further. Biggie's Ready to Die dropped 30 years ago, last Friday.

Nah, for real, legit this is what these Jitts are hearing when we play our music? Word to Uncle Bernie, Fuck Dem Kids!

Spot on... Pixel and MacBook user

Over time from what I've gathered in personal conversations... iPhone users prefer those devices because of their simplicity, the picture quality disappoints them, and they are married to iCloud with no easy route to break free...

I don't understand why those who don't own Apple products or like Apple talk so much about them.

What's the point of this "mine is better than yours" tribalism? Like what you like & keep it pushing.

Usually, the problems come from people trying to imply that every other phone is shit compared to Apple. Like the constant, "Android people always send fucked up pictures" (and not realizing that often, that's due to Apple intentionally compressing MMS messages even if it doesn't need to) or "He has money, why does he have a pixel?"

Apple, Google, Linux and Microsoft 'borrow' from each other Pros and cons to all platforms. Like what you like, but when you start making it an issue on class or status, like a lot of Apple people tend to do, that's when others feel the need to point out how behind or intentionally sabotaging Apple can be on things.

I guess it's a circle thing. Because I've rarely heard anyone who prefers Apple products talk shit about Android or PCs. They may call out their preference to Apple but no more than people in my circle call out their preference to Android. Considering all the top models cost roughly the same, not sure about the poor comments. Most Apple users I interact with are more or less unbothered by other phone companies. Someone saying they like Apple over Android isn't denigrating Android to me. Just seems they are making their preference known.
