Are we not allowed to post Tweets anymore?

So the board will need an update at some point to recognize the new Twitter links to natively post twitter links instead of the embed option

It used to be simple for everyone.. copy the shared link, embed, done.

Now there’s added steps or the inability to share certain links vs others and it’s happening intermittently across the platform. Some people still have the same posting abilities but others do not.

I will say, I’ve definitely seen an uptick in the “Not Found” errors in posting tweets across BGOL in the last week or so. Far more prevalent than before Elon’s arrival.

I should say that the fix @HNIC implemented a few days ago works fine for just being able to post and embed X.com links once again.

Whatever this new issue is of not seeing particular links, sans a workaround, may definitely be on the Twitter side of things cause this is the first I’ve seen of this personally.

There is no problem posting Twitter on BGOL. That has clearly been proven in this thread. I don't know why you or anyone else finds it so hard to understand or accept there are posts on Twitter that cannot be embedded on forums. The message is clearly stated in English with screen shots. The same way some posts from YouTube cannot be embedded on forums.

Just drop it in and it will work, I usually use the Media Box, but a copy and paste works also.




You are probably usng the full embed code, and it doesn't work for copy and paste.
