I don't know where the fuck you getting that pea-brained idea from by what I typed, over embellish much? You just one of these types that want to pretend and cover your ears saying "la la la" while our people are being disrespected. The proof is in society at large. You talking like let's looks beyond the past and leave it there meanwhile our youth are being attacked and they don't have no historic basis of why they are being attacked. We tell our youth that being a hard worker and having strong character is enough for them to reach their full potential. In an ideal society hard work and character would be enough. What we don't tell them is that there are obstacles that have been put in front by the stroke of a pen and handshakes. We don't tell our youth the the historic basis of the why and how we ended up where we are. We don't tell our youth the sacrifices that were made just for the things they have now. The problem with you is that you want to wear rose colored glasses and make pull your boot straps up talking points while ignoring the fact that there are reasons black folks place last in all economic indicators.

Now it is time for you to come to a clear conclusion. So the two questions I will ask are: 1) Are black people in America in the shape they are because of roadblocks? 2) Is there something about the collective mentality of black people in America holding them back since all things are equal?
