Everyone’s favorite #WokeBae, Jesse Williams, is allegedly divorcing his wife, Aryn Drake-Lee.

According to TMZ, the divorce was supposedly filed five weeks ago, but the couple has not officially released a statement. It’s not clear who filed for divorce.

The two launched their popular Ebroji app last year and have two kids together: son Maceo and daughter Sadie.


Williams and Drake-Lee got married Sept. 1, 2012.

We have reached out to Williams’ publicist for a statement.

Hell, I can speak for myself. A woman can't make you what you're not. Now, if you're one of those people who change depending on their environment, maybe.

My problem with dating sistas was, I always got combative, strong-willed ones who wanted their way in ways that I wasn't going for.

Almost all of my uncles and cousins are fucking henpecked. I absolutely refuse to be that guy, or live in conditions where I have to endure that shit from day to day. I got it enough from my mother. That woman is a total control freak, with unreasonable expectations. I dealt with when I HAD to.

I'm not with that bullshit that, just because I'm black, that that mean I should be cool with struggling on any level.

I've worked for years, like a damn maniac to build a comfortable life myself. I'm not going to struggle in business to come home to even more struggle. That just doesn't compute to me.

I don't even know why thats an option.

There is also a matter of, when I get too much shit from anybody, I start seeing red, and fucked up shit starts happening.

I'm built for peaceful living environments. I have my New Age music playing all the time. You come into my place, that bitch tranquil and comfortable as a motherfucker.
