As the result we wind up feeling empty, poor self esteem (knowing deep inside that we are living a lie will do that to you), while all they care about is enjoying life and having fun..
This is why I especially say to Black people especially our women we really need to spend less time trying to gain acceptance of people who they are not fucking (by looking, buying and acting a certain way) and spend more time doing real things that can make them happy...
Get a hobby, learn a craft, sure shopping and getting your hair may be quick fixes to making them feel good but in the long run they are very empty and shallow and once the initial buzz wear off, their self esteem winds up taking a beating till the next fix. In other words do things that make you feel good and less buying thing or living a life to impress others..
