First, the Chargers being in Los Angeles still strikes me as one of the dumbest things ever and from what I hear most people in Los Angeles don't want them there and would rather they move back to San Diego but money is god to these assholes.

My thoughts are it's more on Fisher than the city... MF was cheap, historically never paid high salaries to his players, didn't reinvest in the stadium, and wanted the city to pay a large % if a new stadium was to be built...
I also think he was incentivized by the MLB to move because they wanted another market rather than having 2 teams in the same small market... I wouldn't be surprised to see the Vegas version of the As spending money on talent
