*Love interest that doesn't know the secret the first season but later learns, the secret and becomes a hero themselves? Check

*Wacky nerdy techie sidekick to be the comedic relief? Check

Non-joker Joker big bad? Check

*Batman missing from the Universe the entire whole series up until the last episode of the final season? Check

*Oblivious police, that shuffle papers in the background in scenes and later flip their cars on queue? Check check

It's about what I expected, which means that I'll at least make an attempt at watching it. I mean, it's a CW show, so it's gonna be what it's gonna be.

If nothing else, it looks better than Birds of Prey. You want to talk about a trainwreck...

Has a CW superhero show ever been canceled the first season?

This won't be the first one

CW will continue to ride the fact that they are more "progressive " than Marvel

100 episodes for syndication then gone.

I’m trying to figure out the backlash on this...

batwoman has always been gay in the comic books...

And it’s clear that the idiots at DC aren’t ever going to let someone do a proper Batman show..
even though they will let you do everything but Batman.. including the butler..

Personally I take more issue with Ruby Rose as batwoman. The chick can’t act for shit..

On a side note...

I think it would have been a smarter idea to have a similar premise but to have Barbara Gordon as Batgirl... it would be more interesting to see Barbara trying to defend Gotham without BRUCE or dick Grayson and then lead up to like the 3rd season where we have a killing joke plot line.... turning Barbara into Oracle ..

Then you can bring in Batwoman... to take Barbara's place.

Bam..

That’s like 8 seasons right there.

1) so sick of every tv show/movie having to have lesbians and gays in them …. like the average person sees gays and lesbians 20 times a day.
2) well …. D.C. is trying …. but it's hard to move and do shit with that big ass "Marvel" combat boot on it's neck ...

I don't watch NONE of this shit no more. I watched Arrow up until the 3rd season. watched flash about 2 seasons. Legends of Tomorrow was over the top goofy shit. I can't take none of these horrible ass shows serious....

I tried to give Legends of Tomorrow,a chance but I'm done with it..Season 5 of Arrow is probably the best or second best of the series. After,season 5,it went back to its bullshit..

Yep.
That pretty much sums up my CW watching habits as well.
- Arrow was great the first 2 seasons.
- The Flash was great the first 2 seasons.
- Supergirl season 2 was sorta "interesting".
- Legends of Tomorrow was NEVER any good.
- Black Lightning only had a couple of good episodes.

Batwoman?
TV's 1st openly lesbian superhero series that no one asked for nor wanted...
Unless they bring in multiple Batman villains from the beginning, I give this show 1 1/2 seasons before cancellation.

Perhaps the show's creators should've pitched the show to Logo or Lifetime to build up a following/audience... :dunno:
