I'm not familiar with this actress but I've heard only negative things. I didn't want this show or think its gonna work.
And yeah as a parent i don't feel comfortable watching shows with too much LGBTQ or sexual content or violence with my kids.
But at the same time to HIDE that stuff ain't healthy either.
But we gotta have shows FOR EVERYONE.
Look many of y'all aint ever watch friends or Seinfeld cause they were "white" shows

WB is just shit - especially TV - the reason for no Barbara Gordon? Birds of Prey is still in development
the reason for the backlash really has nothing to do with lesbian angle, shit is low hanging fruit
The lead actress can't act and can't fight / move
production value is generic crap
dialogue in trailer is short bus worthy
all evidence points to no imagination and minimum budgets
in contrast - Amazon just did a Hanna series -first thing you can see is that there is a priority on physical training, stunts and fight choreography... There is no evidence of that in the Bat Bitch trailer
Flashback: No one would have taken KickAss seriously as a movie if Chloe Moretz didn't look move and fight like a rigorously trained killer-
Hit Girl had to be real
Arrow worked initially because the star looked and moved like he trained for it

Even though ARROW had a weaker villain... Overall this Season was one of their best.

I dont know much about Ruby... but I do know that she trained her ass off for John Wick and XXX..
I'm not worried about her putting in the work like Stephen... to convey a fight scene..
but my problem is that the chick can't act..
There is a reason why she didnt say a word in John Wick.
But I will also say... that even though I fucking loved the First Season of Arrow.. Stephen's acting was horrendous back then. Like it took a minute for us to get where he is now.
if the stunt teams and choreographer are limited - even Donnie Yen Jackie or Jet Li will look like shit
that clip is the work of a good partner (Keanu) and great choreography making an uncoordinated actor look good - she moves poorly and has a problem with rhythm and keeping the count
this trailer deserves the hate... looks like Scott Buck work
If they knew they were hiring a non acting chick - this is the character they should have came with
Anyway I haven't said this for 2019 yet:

its weird as fuck so I can see why it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. I enjoy the weirdness, like legion it’s a favorite show to get really high before I watch and just kick back and enjoy the strange

i fell off around the time they had the other 3 super females. maybe i just got tired of it.
similar to lost girl. i liked that at the start and just wasn't motivated to watch after a couple seasons.

lol I get ya. I feel that way about most comic book shows really, the CW ones tend to be too cheesy and filled with melodrama for my taste. To each his own
Anyway. I have no problem with the women's gayness. The original character was a lesbian. It's just another show that will follow the CW formula beginning with comedy relief (genius) sidekick. Also, the stupid notion that anybody with some fighting skills can simply become "the replacement Batman" is corny to me.
I don't fuck with CW shows because of that "cheese" you mentioned as well. Corny jokes. Terrible one-liner banter.
