The old regime was trying to secure a win over the impending new regime..... listened to a podcast on this.....IF it had worked, it would've been impressive......
But most people in the know, knew it wasn't going to work. The smarter play would be to incorporate CNN into HBOMAX or Discovery+ or split between the 2.....
Hbomax can now pull a Disney bundle with Discovery+
The Rumor is that's the plan...

They want to make the HBO Brand exclusive again...
I hope WBD make a Turner Sports app... Similar to ESPN
And It's stupid to have an NBA App (Operated by Turner Sports) and can't watch regular TNT games... Just weird camera angles with no commentary...

We don't need nor want a seperate CNN platform. It was not a smart move it COULD have been just to see who would watch and to have a tested viable operation framework in place that would just need tweaking especiallywith potentialwar, another outbreak, the elections etc
But the timing was off and the content as it was? Lackluster.

Fuck that they need to figure out the damn HBOMax app first before they try merging and changing shit.
It's ridiculous that one of the largest companies in the world with such a huge catalogue haven't been able to fix all the glitches and stability in that app.
It's slightly improved but still not reliable after close to two years.
That's why Discovery fired or replaced all the Warner Bro Execs...
WB has so much content and too many individual apps...
Consolidating all their resources would be the first step fixing to those problems...
Yep that's exactly what I was thinking also vixen, hawkgirl , fire storm all those justice society members like obsidian citizen Steele, the show although the Damian dark arc was cool the show started to drop off for me when they killed off captain cold and when firestorm left. I'm completely free me with the car shows getting the axe. I can always watch the shows on Netflix.
I knew they was going to cancel this show!!...I never watched it but I knew it wasn't going to last that long!!

they finally put it out of its misery
its actually s4 right now but they've already renewed for s5. Not sure how many more seasons they'll go for
6 seems to be the magic number for most of these shows, although some go longer.... two more years and maybe we see Spencer get to the NFL.
I use the HBO MAX app when I’m on the road.
I plug my iPhone 11 into the TV in my truck.
Never had any issues on my end when they went from HBO GO to MAX, loads everything easy and quick, no buffering or anything.
Problem might be on your end somewhere.
I agree. My HBOMax app is one of the most dependable and stable streaming apps I have.
Plus, the variety is actually really crazy.

But it was unreliable as hell and still has hiccups but I can say very recently I ain't have any serious issues in fact it's been real smooth.
They sent emails and even an acknowledgment on social media not that long ago.

It actually wasn't though. The cast seemed to hit their stride in Season 3. The show suffered early on from bad casting. Ruby Rose was a shit lead and apparently Dougray Scott didn't really want to be there. With the two lead actors having so much bullshit going on between them, it took the writers a bit of time to dig themselves out of that hole narratively. But by season 3, they were out of the hole, they had the right cast to tell the stories they wanted, and were able to make a pretty decent show. I don't think they were dead last in the ratings but then again this decision doesn't seem to have been due to ratings it was mostly network politics.
This leaves the Flash as the last man standing in the Arrowverse, and word is next season will probably be its last. Superman & Lois is technically in the same universe but their creative team seems to be intentionally distancing themselves even going as far as to ignore certain details that are canon in the Arrowverse. There are a ton of Youtube videos discussing all of the discrepancies. Next on the CW chopping block, Naomi, 4400, Legacies, and many many more.
Only time when there was a Arrowverse connection is when Diggle guest starred in a episode..
