They Honored the good brother Chad.

No overly gay shit.

Namor was dope.

Black excellence and still showing that wakanda is the world power.

Movie sets up alot of shit for phase 5 and 6 with major implications for upcoming projects.

Basically told them honkies fuck you.

AND FUCK ALL YOU NON SUPPORTING RECAST TCHALLA FAGGOTS AND CACS.

movie had heart to it.

Salute to Coogler.

I absolutely loved this movie in every aspect.

There is one major flaw that sets it apart from the original... No too short?!?
It was the contrast of culture and being progressive in the story that touched my soul. We all want to do our own thing and we know most of the stuff from the past are lies and exaggerations, but in the end, you will conform to history because it makes sense.

Haven't seen it yet, but...
How does it stack up against the MCU's last 2 "stellar" releases...?

My theater was clapping too. It's hard to make a movie that, even if the movie is a little long, there is little to no plot holes because the writing is so well done

I haven't watched Thor Love & Thunder because I heard it was silly as hell. Wakanda Forever was definitely better than Doc Strange sequel.

The movie had some great scenes and I loved the depth of the movie and characters but the writing was not as crisp as the first imo. I did not leave the theater with same feeling I did after BP1 but I understand the direction Coogler took with this movie.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Farewell Chadwick & T'Challa

NO SPOILERS NO SPOILERS

PRAISE: How do you go on after the loss of a great actor? How do you go on after the loss of your great title character?
Marvel definitely goes for the heart with this film.
Not only does the film honor Chadwick Boseman but says goodbye to T'Challa the best way they could . It's handled well and it definitely hit some emotional chords. I felt it through the cast that includes:Letitia Wright as Shuri, Angela Basset as Queen Mother Ramonda, Lupita Nyong'o as Nakia, Danai Gurira as Okoye, Winston Duke as M'Baku and Lupita Nyong'o as Nakia all displaying raw emotion. That emotion was synonymous with the music which was great oh and that score by TEM and Ludwig Goransson was terrific.
Tenoch Huerta portrays Namor and he does a pretty good job displaying the persuasiveness and mistrust of the surface world that the comic book Namor posseses. As much as the first Black Panther film was a celebration of African American culture there is the conclusion of Mesoamerican culture which was beautifully displayed. Blending in legendary myths of the sea.Dominique Thorne as RiriWilliams/Iron hear
Is definitely a breath of fresh air as she is introduced into the MCU into the MCU fold.
There are some great action sequences and use of CGI.Good nods to the comics and imagery in the comics. The humor definitely worked for me.Director Ryan Coogler and writer Joe Robert Cole and the cast
did not have an easy task making this film I praise them all for their work and efforts. I feel secure and confident in saying seeds have been planted for the future of Black Panther.
Can someone please give Angela Basset an Oscar already !!

PROBLEMS: I couldn't get on board with a couple of things.I asked do we really have to go down this path while they were playing out in the movie. There are a couple of predictable moments. I know all of
these MCU threads have to be tied together but the inclusion of one thread just felt kind of forced to me.
The CGI was a bit off in a couple of scenes.

Scale of 1 to 10 an 8

Wakanda Forever was not better than Black Panther. No Chadwick and No Michael B changed everything. Black Panther was a classic while Wakanda Forever just seemed like a tribute sequel. I hope this is the end of them making a Black Panther movie.

Your choice of words reveals that you actually DID NOT see the movie at all. :smh:

I suspect you probably just copy/pasted someone else's opinion that you read somewhere. :hmm:

I'm going to see it later tonight (Dolby Digital)
Plus I already have tickets to see it Saturday night (IMAX)

I might have to stay out of this thread until tomorrow
Plus I've only seen like 2 preview trailers online

So going in fresh without knowing too much of the movie
Unlike Dr Strange 2, where I knew everything beforehand, b/c of the youtube spoiler videos

I love watching movies in Dolby Cinema/Vision
Better sound than IMAX
Better picture/colors than IMAX
Better more comfortable leather seats that recline

I usually just pick a seat closer to the screen
Either right behind the handicap spots
Or right in front of the handicap spots

:shades::shades::shades:
i'm going to see it again in a high end theater

i was in some ol bullshit last night... last minute decision

Which theater are you going to? I saw it last night at Wakefield Commons but the screen felt too dark so I need to watch it again on a better screen
