Nico did the same shit at Spa. Dude is either unaware as fuck, or inherently plays his "privilege card" on the track. In his case, a legacy driver, and elitist, aswell as white. By in large I find white people expect you to give them privilege on the road. Ive had more episodes of road rage involving white folks think youre just going to concede a spot to them. Either you speed up, or slow down. I dont have to let you over.

Art 27.7 requires the leading driver to leave room, if there is a "significant portion" of the car attempting to pass alongside.

Rosberg LEFT the racing line, and moved fully across the width of the track to not only block Hamilton, but to go further and push him off into the grass.:smh::smh::smh:

Rosberg had the advantage driving on the outside lane leading to a right turn, you can brake later and saving serious tire wear, a car on the inside lane need to brake sooner to avoid causing a wheel lockup and possibly skidding off the track. That 's physics and the stewards know this so Rosberg had a higher chance of staying on the outside lane which he had a 80% of beating Lewis in the turn. Rosberg intentionally block Lewis which resulted in both cars being taken out the race. Rosberg should have gotten a penalty either pit row or 20 sec going into the next race which I think is Monaco, then Nico would have no chance in hell if penalized of gaining any race points if started too far back. F1 CAC's think they're slick.

According to Nico, he was making adjustment to the power settings on the wheel it caused him to drift right. Sorry sir you're full of it. The HPP power control is on the right side of the wheel so your stable hand is holding the left side. If anything Nico should have drifted left and not right, force of the wheel is on the left side and not the right. He purposely tired to block Lewis and messed up.

Hamilton is not being too quite about it, this from the Mercedes AMG FB page..

Lewis Hamilton:

I had a decent start from pole but got slipstreamed on the way to the first corner and lost the lead.

Coming out of turn three, I was catching Nico Rosberg really quickly and went for the gap on the right - I had part of my car alongside but then had to take to the grass. The gap was there and, if you're a racing driver, you go for that gap. We saw what happened after that. I'm hurt and disappointed for the team most of all because we lost 43 points today.

We're all here working together towards the same result and the team give me the opportunity to race with the work they do. When I came to a stop in the gravel trap, all I could think about was how gutted I was for the team - that's where I feel the pain.

But we will move on together and come back stronger in Monaco.

If there was any debate of the quality of F1 drivers being worse than in years past its this race today. All these accidents on a wet circuit and its not even really raining. I vividly remember drivers in the early 90s driving in rain and not having this much of an issue. This is pathetic IMO. Better tech, better cars, and worse results.

I know it may seem that way bro, but believe me there were way more accidents then. And these street circuits are always wonky. In the wet forget it.

F1 cars in the past where not as fast as the cars today, speed and lap times are insane now.

They actually had more power and were harder to drive though. Cars are easier to drive now, so that why the times are quicker. But make no mistake. Those old monsters took a different level of skill to drive on the limit, especially in the rain.

Tire physics, the narrower the tire the better wet weather handling tires now are at the widest ever. Wider tires are great for dry flat road surfaces but are disastrous in wet weather hydroplaning.

Not true. In the early 90s they had 18 inch tyres in the back, now theyre 15. Cars were also wider back then, and closer to the ground. The sparks you see today are nothing more than a skid plate to generate sparks. Back then the cars were just that low. Ive never driver either car to compare, but it seems the drivers today dont respect the cars limits for one reason or another. They dont respect each other, or racing rules. Nico last race was a prime example. That was frowned upon, as was dive bombing into a corner ala Senna/early Lewis. Whomever is out in front, has the corner. Make the pass somewhere else if your pace is faster.

Does anyone on here race, autocross, HPDE or autorally cross

I havent raced auto X in my current car. But I did my last 2. Theres a circuit in Kershaw(about an hour from Charlotte) Im thinking bout going to, but I dont think the brakes are up to snuff for a 14 corner track in bumfuckville SC. 2016 6-6 Accord coupe.

An Accord coupe well its 2016. My concern is overheating, In Phoenix, I' ve seen 2016 stingray, BMW m4 and RS7 all overheat and we had to push off track.
Just go to home depot and buy an economy water sprayer to cool those brakes down. It will work temporarily.

I honestly just want to see what it can do. But in stock form competition driving isn't the best idea for this car. Too nose heavy, to go out there on stock brakes. 2 laps and I'd say they'd be toast.

Trying to place blame on Verstappin for Rosberg fuck up, blamed Hamilton for not allowing Rosberg some room on turn one which set him back to 8th. These clowns need to chill.
