Very successful. Maybe did not blow up too big in the US, but worldwide on the international level, Soul II Soul was the shit.

So he went to Marcy and cooped up Bleek and gave him some lines to memorize. Bleek was never a rapper. If that Shyheim thing woulda gone down, there would be no Bleek and I think Shyheim woulda blown up on Rocafella.

he SHOULD be a star but I think there is just something about his style (like Freeway and Dice Raw.) Just not built for mass consumption.

peedi...like beans is talented but battling major drug problems. once you get deep into syrup, coke and pills... man that shit is gonna slow your momentum down. in fact i think wayne going to jail saved his career cuz it let him press reset on his drug problem. im sure he still sippin and sniffin and shit but having some time to let your body reset was probably good for dude. he may have crashed and burned without that pause.

Unfortunately he came out when there was a big SOUL Revival and got lost in the wave...so many sounded similar and there were just too many acts.
