Your friend Latrell asked you a very interesting question the other day, he wanted to know how you felt about "dating" a woman from a different culture?
So you asked him to explain, and he told you that his Chinese coworker, Linda wanted him to meet her cousin, Akira (by the way, Linda's married with 4 kids to a Chinese man).
Latrell didn't ask, but was wondering how come Linda's husband didn't try to "hook her up" with any of his coworkers).
Latrell of course wanted to know what Akira (Linda's cousin) looked like, but Linda just said "Don't worry, you'll like her." So, last Friday, Akira stopped by the job, and Linda introduced her to Latrell.
Since, it was your first time meeting, Linda suggested that the three of you have an early dinner at "Fogo de Chao," a Brazilian Steakhouse.
After about 30 minutes and a drink, Linda excused herself and said she needed to go home and take care of the kids (she felt the conversation was going well between them).
After, finishing her first drink, Akira seemed to change, but not in bad way. Akira was intially very quiet and shy, but Latrell now felt he was out with "Megan thee Stallion" bestie (now it became clear why Linda wanted you to meet her).
Latrell explained that all though he likes some modern hip hop, he is more of an old school rap, R&B guy.
You were thinking that the "culture issue" was about ethnicity, but it was actually music (it's kinda of funny thinking that Akira is more at home at an "Ice Spice" or "Cardi B" concert than Latrell is).
