You had a "thing" for your neighbor, Roberta Vargas, but you never tried to approach her. Maybe it was the fact that she lived 3 doors down from you, and if things "went left" you would still have to see her from time to time. Maybe it was the "cultural differences?" Maybe you were just plain scared that she would reject you?
Last Tuesday, you remember seeing a notice (the notice was for Wednesday) that there was a systemic problem with the plumbing on the "H" line and that there would be no water from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Ironically, as you were reading this notice that was in the lobby of your building, Roberta just happened to come into the building. You pointed the notice out to her since her apartment would be affected, without batting an eyes, Roberta said:
"No problem, I'm coming over to your apartment to take a shower Wednesday evening after work."
Of course you didn't take Roberta serious, until around 5:30 PM, Wednesday evening Roberta came to your door.
Apparently, she was serious and when you opened the door, she said "hello," and playfully pushed you out of her way as she headed to the bathroom.
You weren't use to this aggressive version of Roberta and the fact that she left the bathroom door halfway open while she was in the shower was shocking also.
