The problem I've always had with comedic lines is they are either misplaced or given to the wrong motherfuckers. Ant-Man quantumania is probably the best example. There is nothing to like about ant-man's daughter. She's not cool, she's not cute she's not funny. She's not even smart. And when she throws out bad funny lines...
I've never written on the big scale (yet), but shit both of you two sound like Connected Men hiding in plain sight on BGOL

I should have pursued a career in the arts but, alas, it was not to be. That said, I'm still somewhat young so it can happen.
As for this new Blade, I have hope. Mahershala Ali seems to be taking this project seriously and I trust he won't let it get fugazi. Now, if Ali leaves the project, then it will be time to worry.
