Southern states are passing laws. It’s not illegal to pass laws. States have that right. It was given to them by the constitution. The same constitution that said blacks were 3/5 a man.
Should we fight another war to pass another set of amendments for the same people to issue grandfather clauses again?
This wall against the former president is so predictable. It’s as if we don’t know they’re a purposefully running interference for him. The same guy that gave him study prep for the debates is running against him? If that’s opposition imagine what an ally looks like.
This is clearly theatre. Republicans have a winner takes all primary.
What does this mean?
The GOP freedom caucus plans to show their azz and hold up congress until they get their way because they are mad at McCarthy. I am not sure what they want. They probably don't even know.
A lot of them in the freedom caucus might get pulled down with Trump because of Mark Meadows so they are trying to create a huge distraction right now. This is also why McCarthy sort of threw them under the bus with the debit limit thing

They're hurting a lot of poor white people too. This is hilarious because as a parent, you should be willing to sacrifice anything for your kid...except racism in this case.
People please read the comment above a couple of times. Poor and middle-class white people have been catching hell lately especially in places like Florida. Black people can survive a lot of shit but white people as soon as something doesn’t go their way they think the world is ending and want to do some dumb shit.
BREAKING: New York Times calls Donald Trump to ask him if he has in fact been told that he would be indicted — and Trump’s answer is VERY telling.
First, when asked by New York Times reporters, Trump initially said that it’s “not true.”
But then, the reporters asked Trump if he has been sent a “target letter” from Special Counsel Jack Smith’s office notifying him that he’s about to be criminally charged for stealing highly classified documents, Trump stuttered and replied that the reporters “have to understand” that he is “not directly in touch with prosecutors.”
Do you see what he did there? It’s a typical Trump lie. Sure, prosecutors didn’t directly speak to him, they sent him a target letter. So technically, Trump can say that he isn’t “directly in touch with the prosecutors” and pretend that he isn’t about to be charged. But he DID receive a target letter — so his world is about to come crashing down all around him.
Even better, the New York Times report also states that “aides and advisers” to Trump are in “a state of high tension” due to Trump’s looming arrest.
