In a video posted on social media in August, Mangushev was filmed saying the skull belonged to a Ukrainian fighter killed defending the Azovstal steel works in the southern port of Mariupol.

The "advances" the Ruskies are making are too small to make a difference. Supposedly they are taking over the city Soledar and could soon be taking control over Bakhmut but its still unclear to what is happening because neither side has moved the needle or broke the lines. One indicator of success/failure is to look at Highway M03 which crosses through Bakhmut, which connects Kyiv and Kharkiv to the Donbas. That line of support is still operable so that's how I can tell nothing has changed. Either way, I'm waiting til it gets warmer for the next counteroffense to kick off before we find out who's doing what.
