@Piff Henderson
This speech is when he became a marked man
People forget Hillary Clinton as secretary of state tried to do an Arab spring style coup in Russia in 2011 but failed. They wanted the opposition party to take over. This opposition party is supported by The US and NATO countries and they want Russia to go back to being pro western aka privatizing state owned companies i.e gas/oil,manufacturing, mining, telecoms etc so western multinationals can buy them like what happened when Boris Yeltsin became president after the fall of the Soviet Union. Putin came to power and western nations thought he was going to be an extension of Boris Yeltsin and continue business as usual but he flipped the script and nationalized those companies one by one. That's why you keep hearing about Russian billionaires being found dead all over the world. They were the ones who sold out the country and they were marjed for death as a result. Leaving them in play was too dangerous. Then you have the billionaires who are loyal to Putin.
What does "West aligned" mean in this context and how is it relevant? Pretty much all of the West -- N. America, EU, UK, and Australia condemns Putin's actions.Dawg you realized Putin is the most one of the more west aligned so called bad guys we probably ever see.
Do you feel Russia annexation of Crimea (2014) started this?
Here's the thing, Obama was a lot friendlier to Putin than either of his opponents would've been. McCain, who was a warmonger, said "We are all Georgians (the country) now" after Putin invaded that country. He definitely would've tried to take military action against them.
Romney called Russia "the greatest geopolitical threat in the world" and Obama made fun of him by saying the 1980s wanted it's foreign policy back. Again Romney would've likely taken greater military action against Russia than Obama.
Sure Clinton was Sec of State but the Obama administration tried to play nice with Putin despite the guy expanding into Ukraine and even getting involved in the Middle East with the Syrian Civil War. Putin has not been a force for good for the world and invading a democratic country after interfering with US elections wasn't going to be ignored and rightfully so.
Bro, every response you make is whataboutism. You can't mention election interference because we also do it. You can't mention expansion in the Middle East because we also do it.Obama was on a different level when it came to dealing with other nations.
The respect level was there, some folks know how to talk and deal with others.
It’s been clear over the years, who try to have peace and win/win situations vs it’s gonna be like this and I don’t give a fuck if you like it….
Obama kinda didn’t want to be in them other folks business like all of these other Presidents…
Dawg please don’t bring up election interference…
We’re no slouch when it comes to influencing other elections around the world.
I’m give you two examples I’ve been watching over the last week or so…(this without even researching)
Serbia and Venezuela( to places we want new election, regime change etc)
I didn’t even have to meant Syria
but since it was Mentioned…. Who have the most expansion in the Middle East. Moscow or Washington.
Man we damn near have more bases in the Middle East than we have in North America
I’m tell you something, I always think about the idea of Barack and Vladimir leading a nation.
Seem like internationally both guys was respected more than disliked.
Many of these other Presidents who Lived in Washington can’t say that.
Bro, every response you make is whataboutism. You can't mention election interference because we also do it. You can't mention expansion in the Middle East because we also do it.
Who cares? I know what America does. I wasn't born yesterday. The conversation is about Putin. America doing something doesn't absolve him.
Would you say China can't criticize Israel because of the way they treat the Huigers? I hope not. China doing something bad doesn't absolve Israel.
Obama and Putin both had their fans and detractors that were based on what power a country lined up behind. It was akin to the Cold War division between first world, second world, and third world/unaligned countries. The first world and countries that were Western adjacent favored Obama whereas the others favored Putin.
What did they see?aight so lets get back to the madman & invasion shit…
What if the Russia saw/assumed something coming down the pipeline and acted beforehand.
(I’m only saying what if because we know exactly what they saw coming.)
Like a Precautionary Type of situation
Putin believed that, yes but the slow creep and the voicing of concerns was happening way before himWhat did they see?
Putin claimed to be defending Russians in the Donbass but has attacked other parts of Ukraine. We know Putin believes NATO was getting too close to Russian borders but his actions have driven other European countries that didn't want to join NATO to now request membership.
He may be too cerebral to be considered a madman but he's definitely not a humanitarian and never has been. He very likely staged a terrorist attack on Russian soil back in '99. He very clearly wants to expand Russian influence and doesn't mind using military action to do it.
That said, if you were Russian, would you be willing to get into knife fights with some guy you don't know over this bullshit? This shit is sad. There are no good guys but some guys are much worse than others here.
Joe Biden in 1997 - NATO expansion, Russia, China, Iran - Thin line between confidence and arrogance
You think the state department acts without the presidents approval??? Obama was complicit in all this. NATOS entire purpose was to be a deterrent against the Soviet Union. That no longer exists but NATO kept expanding east towards Russia. You didn't think they'd allow Georgia or Ukraine to join a military alliance that is trying to strategically places weapons on your border??Here's the thing, Obama was a lot friendlier to Putin than either of his opponents would've been. McCain, who was a warmonger, said "We are all Georgians (the country) now" after Putin invaded that country. He definitely would've tried to take military action against them.

Some truth here but it's one-sided and full of propaganda. Yeah, NATO was a deterrent to the USSR and the Warsaw Pact and, perhaps, should've been shelved after the Wall fell. That said, that doesn't justify Putin's actions in Ukraine and his expansion in the rest of the world. You think the state department acts without the presidents approval??? Obama was complicit in all this. NATOS entire purpose was to be a deterrent against the Soviet Union. That no longer exists but NATO kept expanding east towards Russia. Obama helped put Africom in Africa. He threatened African countries to accept LGBT or they wouldn't receive money from IMF. He pushed the US further into war. He was an enemy of whistle-blowers who called out the corruption in the government and banking sector. He made up a presidential kill list for anyone he deemed got in the way of American multinationals ability to plunder other nations national resources. That sounds a lot like someone who wasn't a force of good in this world because you must have a imaginative one if you think Putin is anywhere near that level.
Putin has being pushing for a multipolar world going on 30 years rather than the unipolar one where America makes all the rules while simultaneously following non of them. Russia is assisting African countries get free from Neo colonial hold that countries like France, Britain and America have on them. The developing world will finally be able to get to become developed nations through the work BRICS is putting in. Why would a force of evil be apart of that?? I'm curious to know who are the good guys in your eyes??
And his actions have only made things worse in that regard since more European countries now want to join NATO.Putin believed that, yes but the slow creep and the voicing of concerns was happening way before him
Also the people of the Donbas is Ukrainian so he did care about others
Not doubting this but where have they tried to spread their influence? This a serious question, I’m just curious about these thangs.
Would I likely stay clear of those interactions. I’m not much of a Military guy. I wasn’t born that way but Iately I see how our people become very patriotic.
And his actions have only made things worse in that regard since more European countries now want to join NATO.
I'm not sure how he's "caring for others" by bombing them but I'll let you cook.
Where has Russia tried to spread their influence? Africa, the Middle East, former Soviet bloc countries such as the Baltics.
The fact the you believe that Africom exists because of terrorists is laughable. Africom existed before Obama but he put the boots on the ground. They were based in Europe the entirety of its existence before he became president. And speaking of these terrorists they didn't exist in the manner they do now especially in the Sahel region prior to Obamas admin toppling Gaddafis government which held them all in check. Just like ISIS didn't exist before Iraq invasion because Saddam held any bullshit over there in check. Al Shabab, Boko Horom mysteriously materialized after the war was declared in the middle east. US fucked things up so bad you even had Muslim radicals popping up in Southern Africa where the population is majority Christian or followed traditional religions. It was South African and Rwanda forces that had to put that shit to rest before it got out of hand and became a regional issue.
Obama wasn't perfect. I never argued that he was. Again bringing him up doesn't absolve Putin one bit. Furthermore, Africa is a region that has many conflicts and terrorist organizations. Does Boko Haram, Janjuweed, and LRA ring a bell? Of course there would be a Command over there. I'm not saying it's right but it's understandable. As for the LGBT thing, I don't believe any countries should be allowed to persecute gay people. There really isn't anything that can be done to places like Iran, Saudi Arabia, or Russia but I don't believe aid should be given to a country that actively persecutes a minority group.
Russia under Putin has been pushing for one thing, more Russian influence on the world stage. He'll do whatever it takes to get that influence whether it's military expansion or aligning with friendly countries. And don't get me started on the Russian atrocities committed in the Middle East and Africa by the Wagner Group. Russia hasn't been a force for good anywhere in the world.
As I said in another post, there are no "good guys." There are bad guys and worse guys. Putin IMO is one of the worst and definitely worst than most Western leaders barring Trump.
Bruh I have one question I asked many of my military family member. I live to asked this to the who were born hating Russians. The fact the you believe that Africom exists because of terrorists is laughable. Africom existed before Obama but he put the boots on the ground. They were based in Europe the entirety of its existence before he became president. Why doesn't Russia have hundreds of bases around the globe if they are such a menacing threat to global order like one particular nation as you claim??? What atrocious has Wagner committed in Africa?? The Sahel region they blamed Burkina Faso and once Wagner arrived to support them they started blaming them for killing civilians when it was the terrorists with the help of France all along.
Nobody is getting persecuted in Africa for being gay. You have popular gay influencers in some of the countries that were being threatened by Obama and recently Biden. How do you try and force something on foreign Nations that's not part of their culture??
This angle of Putin being this evil force in the world just ain't adding up. What's happening in Ukraine would've happened to Mexico by the US if they did the same thing. Before the 2014 coup everything was good between Russia and Ukraine. Post coup you had nazis terrorizing the eastern part of Ukraine because the people there were culturally Russian. The same media that’s against Putin today did stories and documentaries about the atrocities that was being done by Azov and the Ukrainian government allowing it to happen. The stories ran up until the Russia decided to intervene after years of the people in that region begging them for help. Do we even want to bring up the civilian death toll from NATO the last 15 years??? But Putin is the ultimate bad guy here??
And it's crazy people are acting like that wouldn't be the response any nation that values being soverign would give. It's like the Cuban missile crisis never happened. It's bad when they do it but when the US tries to do the same exact thing and Russia responds to a threat on their national security they call them bullies. Greenland would be a wasteland if Russia talked them into a military alliance. Anyone saying otherwise is being dishonest.Bruh I have one question I asked many of my military family member. I live to asked this to the who were born hating Russians.
I even ask my family members who’re not so patriotic anymore.
If we was Russia what would’ve happened to Ukraine.
the craziest but most logically answer(to me came from my brother)
“Awww man if them Ukrainians would’ve did that to us, it would’ve looked like Iraq. Been dead people everywhere, not just soldiers”
Hell it might not take Russia….And it's crazy people are acting like that wouldn't be the response any nation that values being soverign would give. It's like the Cuban missile crisis never happened. Nah they made them fuck with them so they 1 wouldn't buy cheap gas from them which opened the lane for US companies to sell them expensive ass LNG gas and that in turn has caused the manufacturing industry like Germanys to collapse because the cost of energy was too high for those industries to keep operating there. Volkswagen the largest employer in the country just recently had to lay off 35,000 workers just to remain in operation. The US is making the EU have to rely on them which keeps them on a short leash so they don't start questioning their arrangement with America that's recently been detrimental to them. They had to give Ukraine tanks, jets, missle systems, ammunition for 3 years which is at a lose to their own defense needs. America has the UK in a chokehold on how much America runs them.Hell it might not take Russia….
The EU as a whole talking that Greenland can’t go shit…
I personally thinking Washington suckered the EU to fuck with Russia, so they could slide in and grab Greenland.
I know that ain’t it but idk

A "great concern," huh? Obviously Russia was a greater concern or they wouldn't have joined. When was the last time NATO invaded a country versus the last time Russia did. The countries close to Russia know where the threat is coming from.Yes that definitely happened Sweden and Finland joined. The funny thing is Finns have developed a great concern now that their country isn’t neutral anymore. Many have fears that they didn't have before. These fucks see Russian military on borders that wasn’t there before NATO.
Now Questions are being asked, “Was it worth it when before the communication wasn’t horrible”.
On the flip side of it, you have many EU political leaders looking sideways at Washington. The pushing of NATO towards Russia have crippled many of their economies.
Now I’m not saying everyone because many believe in the need for democracy. This probably one of the best things our leaders have pushed.
He did care if he didn’t we wouldn’t be talking about this
Apparently Zelensky was bombing his own people. In the Donbas. They asked the UN to help, nothing happened. They asked iCC & ICJ and nothing happened. The LPR & DPR asked Russia to help, they said talk to the UN, they don’t want any trouble. Well nothing happened, Putin said ok if we help you will have to fight also…. Biden went on for about a month saying Russia would invade each week. Then it happened…
But I’m not 100% sure but I doubt Putin bombed his friends.
I’m sure the Azov battalion wasn’t his friends, I might be wrong tho.
First you blame Obama for starting Africom and then say it was around before him. Which is it? ISIS has existed since 1999 which is before the invasion of Iraq in 2003. Were you referring to the First Gulf War instead? The fact the you believe that Africom exists because of terrorists is laughable. Africom existed before Obama but he put the boots on the ground. Yea concerns they didn’t have when they were neutral. Like not stocking up on foods, building bunkers & bomb shelters etc… those type of concerns wasn’t constantly being thought about…A "great concern," huh? Obviously Russia was a greater concern or they wouldn't have joined. When was the last time NATO invaded a country versus the last time Russia did. The countries close to Russia know where the threat is coming from.
Which EU leaders are "looking sideways"? They all seem to be more concerned that Trump will unravel NATO than they are that NATO is edging too close to Russia. Can you the name the EU leaders who have expressed concern about NATO's actions?
Which reports have claimed Zelensky bombed his own people? Furthermore, has Russia's actions saved lives or made things worse than they were? To me, his "special military action" seemed to have caused more loss of life than anything else.
Who cares if Putin bombed his friends whoever they may be. His actions have led to the death of thousands of innocent people. He sounds like a great humanitarian.
And why didn't they remain neutral? Most countries, if they can do so, try to avoid conflict. I doubt any country in that region wants to be on a war footing. If they are, it's because they see a threat.Yea concerns they didn’t have when they were neutral. Like not stocking up on foods, building bunkers & bomb shelters etc… those type of concerns wasn’t constantly being thought about…
For as leaders who’s not to fond of Nato’s actions…. Im have to get back with you on that, besides Victor in Hungry and some cat in Germany whos name starts with a Forage(or something like that) and a lady and another Uk idk recall. I’m see if I can find the ones I know about without going look for more people.
The Donbas is part of Ukraine, Russian speaking Ukrainian lives there. They were the Ukrainian people, who needed/wanted help.
I bet to differ about ole boy being view as a great humanitarian in Ukraine. Now if you speak with some Ukrainians, you might get that reply but I can’t speak that
Hey bro I haven’t forgot about you, I’m so a little searching today. And why didn't they remain neutral? Most countries, if they can do so, try to avoid conflict. I doubt any country in that region wants to be on a war footing. If they are, it's because they see a threat.
Victor Orban? The last I heard that guy was a right wing wannabe dictator. I have to read up more on him but I'm pretty sure Tucker Carlson praised and visited him which is already a red flag. He probably is a Putin ally. BTW, I don't believe Orban would be taking in any Palestinians or other displaced people. I hear he's not fond of immigrants.
Yeah, I wonder how many people in the Donbass are happier now that they received that "help" they wanted.
