Hmm, the collusion part they will be dancing in the streets about and rightly so, no matter how much I hate it...but the obstruction part...I'm thinking more is there than Barr wants to put out. All he's saying is that Mueller doesn't say guilty and doesn't clear him. You'd think if it was positive for potus, they'd be dancing in the streets for that too, but they can't, and Barr made the conclusion in the statement on obstruction himself, not Mueller.... Will be really interesting to see what Mueller's actual words are on obstruction.

The special counsel specifically says he doesn’t exonerate.. trump...
He put in conclusions on both sides and left it to others to decide...
I have major issues with Barr... sending out this letter to state his position while at the same time.. Barr says in his letter that he still hasn’t completed his entire review of the report...
How the fuck can you send a letter that states a conclusion of evidence while admitting that you haven’t finished reviewing all the evidence.

Trump’s problem is that the investigation opened up the shit that’s really going to fuck him. This bank fraud and tax fraud investigation wouldn’t have even been an issue if the Report didn’t lead to congressional testimony.
Trump’s issue is that as soon as he leaves office... he is fucked... and I firmly believe that his business will be in jeopardy based on the bank fraud issues...

Barr auditioned for this job saying that Trump, even if he did what people said he did, could not have committed obstruction because it was within his right to what he did and intent didn't matter. So he did what he said he was going to do. He took the report and drew his own conclusion of whether it was abuse or not.

Pelosi already moved them away so I don't think there is blowback. The blowback towards Dems really isn't the issue. I think the Dems approval rating will stay relatively flat. The real issue is how much will it directly help Trump's favorability ratings.
