Fuck this trial. Is this nigga Kang or not?
It's not the most important thing, but I kinda want to know this, too.
Marvel Studios seems to have adopted a "wait and see" stance, based on the fact that they didn't have much coming out featuring Majors the first half of the year. And they definitely are not planning to scrap season 2 of Loki, which we know that Majors has a significant appearance in.
They will probably need to have sorted this and made some kind of definitive choice by the end of the year. Kang does not appear to be featured in The Marvels, which is the last movie due out this year. And his appearances in the current phase would seem to pick back up sometime next year, if even then.
At this point, despite allegations and even some evidence, it doesn't seem like anyone has a "smoking gun" significant enough to cancel him if he any sort of career protection in place. If you look at other high profile stars (Ezra Miller, Amber Heard...) and their legal troubles, nothing here seems to rise past that
at this point in time. Unless Marvel's team has dug up something on the DL that we don't know about yet, they'll probably muddle through this trial (assuming it even still happens), and go radio silent with Majors for about a year. For better or worse, a lot of people have short memories about stuff like this, and they'll go see whatever if it looks like it's going to be good.
Ironically, the two active strikes that are ongoing might inadvertantly have saved his career, because everything pushing production back has given Marvel more time to play this out.
