I am aware that this is from the film "Jungle Fever," (1991). However, law enforcement has historically sided with the "fair skinned maiden," if she claims to be the aggrieved party (and sometimes even when she doesn't) when the alleged perpetrator is of a darker hue.
This is what I don't respect about these prosecutors and the so called law. They will happily ruin a man's life knowing there is no case. Once the accusations are from a woman, the man is truly guilty until proven innocent and the prosecutors will say and do anything to facilitate this.

I want to share an excerpt from "In The Matter Of Color: Race & The American Legal Process: The Colonial Period" by A. Leon Higginbotham, Jr.
Virginia 1691 statute (Act XVI) pg. 44 - 45
And it is further enacted, that if any English woman being free shall have a bastard child by a Negro she shall pay fifteen pounds to the church wardens, and in default of such payment, she shall be taken into possession by the church wardens and disposed of for five years and the amount she brings shall be paid one-third to their majesties for the support of the government, one-third to the parish where the offense is committed and the other third to the informer.
The child shall be bound out by the church wardens until he is thirty years of age. In case the English woman that shall have a bastard is a servant she shall be sold by the church wardens (after her time is expired) for five years, and the child serve as aforesaid.
This was actually the law in Virginia in 1691, and one would assume that such a mindset doesn't exist today, right?

Jonathan Majors Appears in ‘Loki’ Season 2 Since Production Didn’t Want to Make a ‘Hasty’ Decision
"It felt hasty to do anything without knowing how all of this plays out," executive producer Kevin Wright said.

Jonathan Majors‘ role in “Loki” Season 2 wasn’t on the chopping block amid the actor’s assault allegations, according to Disney+ series executive producer Kevin Wright.
Majors was arrested in March on charges of assault, strangulation, and harassment. The “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” star was later dropped by his publicist and was removed from a series of upcoming projects. Majors is awaiting trial while his accuser has been granted a restraining order. Reports of Majors having alleged violent outbursts on sets have also been made public.
The actor can now be seen in “Loki” Season 2, debuting on Disney+ October 5, reprising the roles of He Who Remains and Victor Timely, both variants of Kang the Conqueror whom Majors portrayed in “Quantumania.” The inclusion of Majors in “Loki” amid the allegations prove that Kang has not been recast yet, or if the Phase 6 lead villain will be at all.
“I know as much as you do at the moment,” “Loki” EP Wright told Variety about Majors’ impending trial. “It felt hasty to do anything without knowing how all of this plays out.”
Wright added that there was no “additional photography” on “Loki” Season 2 to cut Majors or recast the character.
“This is maybe — not maybe — this is the first Marvel series to never have any additional photography,” Wright said. “The story that is onscreen is the story we set out to make. We went out there with a very specific idea of what we wanted this to be, and we found a way to tell it in that production period. It’s very much what’s onscreen on Disney+.”
As of print, Majors is still set to play Kang in several upcoming films, including “Avengers: Secret Wars” and “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.”
While Majors has not spoken publicly about the allegations, his criminal defense attorney Priya Chaudhry issued a statement in March: “Jonathan Majors is completely innocent and is provably the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows. […] All the evidence proves that Mr. Majors is entirely innocent and did not assault her whatsoever. Unfortunately, this incident came about because this woman was having an emotional crisis, for which she was taken to a hospital yesterday. The NYPD is required to make an arrest in these situations, and this is the only reason Mr. Majors was arrested. We expect these charges to be dropped soon.”
