and if his lawyer is sloppy she is allowing them to establish a history of violence making it more plausible than not that he repeated this alleged behavior.

I'm still not clear why it seems these cops went all out on Majors. It doesn't seem their were previous reports of violence. And allegedly coercion of the "victim" testimony too? And openly blaming Majors before anything was proven?

I keep having to tell people at my job not to text me about work stuff, because I don't do work stuff on my personal phone. No, you can't "call in sick" that way. No, you can't explain something going on somewhere there. Because if I accept that, then when you inevitably go to prove it someone higher up, my phone becomes evidence, and I got time for that drama.

I hear where you're coming from and that's the sad part. I attended Jury Duty back in February of this year (111 Centre Street, which is right across the street from 100 Centre Street, where Jonathan Majors trial is being held). I could estimate about 80 to 100 people were in the jury pool with me that day, and there were very few black people (the majority were white men and women).
I wish I had some type of super powers that could tell me how people feel about "racial matters," but I don't. In addition, I have never brought into that "can you be objective," because people make decisions based on their personal likes and dislikes. This might sound strange, but I think you'll understand this question:
With the evidence being presented in this case would Jonathan Majors have a better chance of being acquitted by Rachel Dolezal or Tarana Burke?
With either of those two on the jury = take a plea bargain.
It's funny you should say that because that what Shaun "Jay Z" Carter did after several court appearances. But then again, he was only charged with "allegedly" stabbing one person and assaulting 2 others in a club (Basically, I mentioned that because it didn't hurt his reputation).
However, that doesn't apply when a white woman is involved. Even if you are acquitted the damage is done, and sometimes women in your own community (some, not all) will continue to persecute you even if there is overwhelming evidence that supports you being innocent (see Nate Parker and Gabrielle Union).

Honestly I really never thought that this case was nothing more than a overblown situation. Should have never made it this far to begin with. Seeing Disney's initial reaction lead me to believe that they saw things the same way I did. I believe the only thing changed was the time frame in which they thought that this situation could be handled and they could maintain their filming schedule. Sadly that was my only real interest in this will he be able to continue with his work for the mouse. Fuck that drunk white chick. He could be on film busting her forehead open all I could say is oh well bitch take it or leave it that craft services is already laid out on the table.
