Disgraced NC Republican Mark Robinson Logged Into a Virtual State Meeting with the Same Username from Explosive ‘Black Nazi’ Report
Disgraced North Carolina Lt. Gov.
Mark Robinson recently logged into a virtual meeting with the same username referenced in the bombshell “Black Nazi” report that derailed his gubernatorial campaign.
According to a Dec. 16 report from
The Assembly, Robinson joined members of the Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies last week in preparation for the inauguration of Governor-elect
Josh Stein. When he greeted the other members, however, his arrival “raised some eyebrows” and even elicited “a few giggles” when they saw the display name “minisoldr.” That same username was involved in CNN’s explosive report detailing Robinson’s alleged activity on porn sites. The user in question referred to themselves as a “Black NAZI.”
Robinson has acknowledged that he’s used that name across various platforms, but denied that the user on the porn sites is him. In a statement sent to
WRAL News, Robinson’s spokesperson said, “People attempt to impersonate him all the time by utilizing variations of the name.”
The lieutenant governor has also
filed a lawsuit against CNN for the report.
Robinson’s colleagues seemed to get a kick out of it. When told about the username appearing in the meeting, State Sen.
Gladys Robinson “let out a long laugh.”
“He didn’t stay long in the meeting,” Robinson told The Assembly. “I’m just glad he’s on his way out.”
