Reports saying that he may have contracted H.I.V. during the 90's is not that far fetched, because during that time, part of Prince that we all knew and loved died... This is the year that he canned the now infamous Black Album, deciding to go with the softer and more spiritual LoveSexy album instead..
From that period on, his music has been less and less raunchy and edgy...
Did his alleged H.I.V. status trigger a more kinder, gentler and more religious Prince? We may never know, but anyone who knows as much about Prince music as I do, will tell you that after that 90's Black album Prince style of music changed dramatically....

His parents have passed. He has six brothers and sisters. Except for Tyka, all of Prince’s brothers and sisters are half-siblings, born to his dad and Vivian Nelson.

Damn. Just a few months ago me and my lady had a Prince movie marathon Purple Rain, Graffiti Bridge, Under the Cherry Moon and 3 Chains O' Gold . I'm sad he's gone, he was my childhood musical idol alongside Michael. My lady is taking it hard though, she crying her eyes out like she lost a family member. The AIDS thing is fully plausible though. Over the past 3 years or so, he's been seen a lot more giving interviews, etc. A few months ago l, he was walking with a cane, then the emergency stop due to the flu. I think he knew his time was coming to a close...

He had a son,but he died a week later,after he was born,but you're right dividing the estate is going to be interesting.His sister (Tyka)should get control of the estate,since they're blood related

I hate speculating so sson after his death, but all I can say is something dramatic happened after the Black album (a album he suddenly declared as being evil) this was strange being that most of his music prior to that was seen as being evil or edgy...
