Come on, mayne! Stop this bullshit narrative right now! Draymond gets major work for his antics! Cam just got his head chewed off for his QB take not too long back. Cam got his head chewed off when he was doing the Superman after scoring TDs. There’s wayyyyyy too many players to name that have gotten vilified for their antics or “just being them.”

When Angel was talking shit against ol girl from SC when they played, most applauded it, because it was dope to see them going at it. Some people may not have liked it, but I rarely seen anyone really give her shit for it. Maybe because of what happened later in the game, but no one gave her any real shit for pulling the girl’s hair or anything. Of course, she got a little shit for it, but no one went crazy on her for it.

Let me be clear! I’m not in my feelings about Angel Reese. She is currently the topic of discussion and we’re giving our views of how we see things. So don’t narrow my take as in my feelings because I’m far from it. I’m speaking on some real shit.
Angel Reese is a young black woman who plays the game of basketball on the second to highest level. WNBA is the highest level obviously. She doesn’t deserve to have her life threaten by anyone for any reason related to the game of basketball. We all know and recognize that.
I’m not calling her Draymond Green or saying she is, but that was some Draymond shit to do. Lmao! If you’re black and talk shit whether you are man or woman, you will be vilified for it. To say that it only happened to her and no other man in college ball or any other sport is false. She said there has been no segments were men have been talked about for their behaviors on the court and that’s a lie.
If Joy just said that black players period get treated worse than whites for playing the game with passion, then I could see her point but that’s not what she said or alluded to. She made a false narrative. It happens with a lot of black players, bro! That’s my point. Tom Brady gets mad love for the shit that he does, but let it be a black player and he gets a whole segment, news article, etc. about his attitude. Cam Newton played the game with passion but got vilified for being a great black quarterback that talks his shit.

I think we pretty much agree. I think Joy was just trying to point out that Angel Reese is getting more than just an expected backlash and that most players in her position (male or female) don't get the same level of vitriol from folks. And I know that being Black there's always gonna be more but the shit just seems to be extra spicy and mean spirited towards her and that's disturbing. She doesn't deserve that and I think that's what the point was.
Sadly there's no one in the media talking about the real issue and the real backstory to Angel's actions to Caitlin in last year's championship game.
Caitlin was talking mad shit to Louisville and Van Lith when Iowa beat them in the tournament.
Then Caitlin was talking shit and very disrespectful to South Carolina's point guard waving hear off daring her to shoot.
Angel saw that and actually took offense to the way the South Carolina player was treated and when it was Angel's time, she rubbed it right back in her face.
As always they speak about the reaction and not the action that caused it.
And white people made Angel the villain while saying nothing about Caitlin's actions that caused it.
