Aja won mvp last year but it wasn't unanimous.
So since before this season started there has been a campaign to make sure she wins it unanimously this year
And that's the sad part about it.
So what were the results?
Wemby's a generational talent who's had lots of fans and supporters before he entered the league.
Just like Caitlin, so the fans of theirs are outwardly vocal about their support.
Apparently the wnba commissioner personally called her to congratulate her about rookie of the year and didn't do that for anyone else.
This is the WNBA executives either being tone deaf or deliberately stoking the flames.
I've come to realize something

It's who she ATTRACTS
It's what she has become as an idea and what she symbolizes
She and her camp have to take some responsibility because she COULD have nipped this in the bud long ago. But I don't think they ever intended for it to get this bad.

It was clear who the ROY was and that voter isn't serous and should come out and explain their decision
Nah Breanna Stewart won MVP last year Aja Wilson finished third behind Alyssa Thomas but did win defensive player of the year. I remember reading someone gave Aja Wilson a 4th place vote and that put her behind the other two. Aja Wilson been seen as the best player in the WNBA so her getting a fourth place vote is why they made this big deal about her this year
