I hope Caitlin Clark wins the WNBA championship her first year. I thought Diana Tarausi had retired, she should be close to 40 by now
I hope that she’s successful and has the green light just to prove the current WNBA players aka haters wrong.

Yes what Caitlin did was disrespectful and uncalled for. But we were all so in shock and could go both but laughed at it and damn near admire the disrespect.
But at the same time we were chatting about it in real time in here and all saying "SHOOT THE DAMN BALL"!
And your feeling is right, if a Black player did that it would've been covered TOTALLY different.
She can definitely ball and I like watching her play. I also look forward to seeing what she does in the WNBA.

this has to be the 1st time in history a team lost all 5 starters to graduation/the WNBA, and came back the very next year to go undefeated and with the championship. Can someone confirm this?

Do you know a lot of white people are trying to make some type of excuse to put Mrs. Clark on a pedestal. She’s a good player. I’m not denying that, but she never won a championship because she had a very mediocre team around her and if she didn’t have a mediocre team around her, she would not have all of those points. That young lady who played tough defense on her in the championship game, actually gave a blueprint on how to stop Mrs. Clark. You guys are so desperate for a hero that it’s making you guys look like turtle soup disgusting
That ain't no blueprint. It's easier to limit a player when he/she's the only real scoring threat.
Now if they can lock down Caitlin with a talented squad supporting her, then yeah sure. Even then I find it unlikely.
Also, if she develops a better handle, that hand in the face defense ain't stopping shit.
If she works on her weaknesses (going right, midrange shot, handles), them wnba hater hoes finna be in trouble...trouble.
Karen Hunter talked about Caitlin not being in her top 50 of all-time players and backed it up with why she felt that way. I do believe a lot of this is media hype, and to be honest, if it weren’t for the incident with Angel Reese from last year, a majority of these people (including myself ) wouldn’t even be talking about her or the women’s game. Btw: Lynette Woodard the previous scoring leader did it with a standard size ball not the smaller ball that women use today. Is Pistol Pete considered a top 50 all-time player? Asking for a friend.
That missing championship really got people heads messed up on how great Caitlin Clark was in college, the blackness in me was the only thing keeping me from rooting for her to win a championship..lol If she had played anybody besides LSU or South Carolina I would have been pulling for her to win the championship to cap off a great college career

Caitlin's a great player and the all time leading scorer in college, that means and shows something about her game and her skillset.
10 million people watched last year's women's championship game. That means 10 million people were already interested in the game before they saw Angel's gesture towards Caitlin.
Is there media hype? Yes. Is she a great player? Yes.

There's no way South Carolina was the first team to try that defensive strategy on Caitlin, South Carolina (who was undefeated last year when Caitlin Clarks Iowa team beat them in the Final Four) was able to be Iowa this year because they had a combination of to much size on the inside with Cardoso and Watkins, speed and athleticism from Fuewiley and a hot hand from freshman Tessa Johnson on the outside, Iowa was not a mediocre team, Stuekle, Martin and Marshall played well all season out hustling teams and making big shots, that team was just outmatched this year
No, South Carolina wasn’t the first one to play that type of defense on Mrs. Clark, but they had the right personnel to do it correctly.
