It’s hard to score like that. Her teammates can’t get buckets so when they trap her, the ball stops.

She played much better today and starting to get adjusted to the speed and learning to keep the ball.

All top (not even #1) draft picks have a target on their back. Veterans in the league are not going to be shown up by a rookie. They have pride and are ballers too. Its the nature of all sports.

The WNBA does not need CC. Yes, all the "great white hype" media attention on her has brought major attention to the league, but the WNBA has consistently grown year over year. All of these young players have fans that follow them to the league. Angel Reese, Nike Muhl, Celeste Taylor, etc all have fans that follow them and help grow the league. This is what isn’t spoken about in the media. Angel Reese was the most outstanding player of the 2023 NCAA tournament and a National Champion (she won it all). She has millions of fans. They are following her and supporting her like crazy. But if you listen to the media the league growth is only because of one player.
